The Tyrees are in my line by marriage. I have Louise/Louisa as being a daughter of William Roberts Tyree and Rhoda Ann (Henderson) Tyree. I have been rechecking this or 2 days and I believe this Louise Sowder is a daughter of William and Rhoda Ann Henderson Tyree. I

Hello, since he is your kin, too, please maintain his memorial with my blessing.
You asked my descent from Hackley Sowder...
Hackley and my gr gr grandmother Esther Vanderpool 1826-1860 married in 1845, their son William Henry Sowder 1853-1946 and I visited him in Mt Vernon when I was about 9 years old and remember him as being bedridden living at his daughter's house and he had this long snow white beard. William Henry, my gr grandfather married Mary Jane "Polly" Meese 1856-1939 and their son John Christopher Sowder 1878-1933 married Lula Mae Harrison 1888-1932 they are my grandparents and their daughter Margaret Sowder Lacefield is my mother.
Is your Jay named Jahile? I don't have any thing on him only his name.

Hello, Hackley Sowder is my great great grandfather. Thank you for creating his memorial. If you prefer you may transfer it over to me. Madeliene
Sorry the transfer of William Bromagen took so long. I'm rather behind.
I will transfer the memorial to you, I have no problem with that. In fact, when people have info, I frequently offer to transfer. Memorials belong with family, I just put them here to be found. If I have any more of your relatives, let me know. I'm always glad to transfer anyone who is not my family.

Yes, I received your e-mail and have added the information you posted at rootsweb.com to my family records. Thanks so much for your contribution. I had no information at all about that line of the family. Please let me know if I can provide any information for you! Thanks again.

Thank you for your message! It is good to know that what I have posted is of some interest to someone. Yes, I am a direct descendent of Archibald Fisher, he being my 4th great grandfather. His daughter, Mary Fisher, married John Steele, and they had nine children, one of whom was named Mary. This Mary married John Stone Barrow, and they also had nine children, the youngest of whom was Eulalia Barrow. Eulalia married Samuel Wesley Higgerson, and they had six children, the youngest of whom was Walter William Higgerson. Walter married Agnes McFarland, and they had six children, the youngest of whom was Don Higgerson, my father. So the lineage goes: Archibald Fisher--Mary Steele--Mary Barrow--Eulalia Barrow--Walter William Higgerson--Don Higgerson--Thomas Higgerson. You said you are descended from Archibald's daughter Catherine. I don't know anything about her or her descendants, other than the fact that she married a man named Forgey. If you would care to share your knowledge of any descendents through her, I would be delighted to have that information and incorporate it into my family tree. Thanks again for your kind comments, and I hope to hear from you again!

Nan...I should have never waited so long! I have had that photo since 1999 (I probably didn't have a scanner back then). All the photos I took back then are now posted!
