Like a tiny seed|
That fell to earth.
When no one cared
Or knew it's worth.
Through wind and rain
Sleet and snow.
It sprouted roots.
And began to grow.
Now Whoever thought
That you and me.
Would be one branch
Of that mighty tree.

THEY ARE NOT REALLY GONE.
UNTIL WE STOP THINKING ABOUT THEM...
I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY MEMORIALS BUT I HAVE LOST A LOT OF THEM IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS, MY HOWARD MEMORIALS. LAST WEEK I HAD 1,352 NOW I HAVE 1,350 SO NOW I'VE LOST 2 MORE. OVER 90% OF MY MEMORIALS ARE MY ANCESTORS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I HAVE WORKED HARD ON THESE FOR MANY YEARS SO FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE ABLE TO TRACE THEIR ANCESTORS, PLUS I HAVE TRIED TO HELP OTHERS TO THE POINT OF LONG PHONE CONVERSATIONS WITH THEM. I DO NOT ASK ANYONE TO TRANSFER ANY OF THEIR MEMORIAL TO ME, THEY MADE THEM AN I THINK THEY DESERVE TO KEEP THEM. I DO NOT GO AROUND AND COLLECT MEMORIALS FROM OTHERS, IF SOMEONE ALREADY POSTED A FAMILY MEMBER OF MINE AND POSTED IT FIRST THEY SHOULD KEEP IT. I HAVE HAD A LOT OF DUPLICATES OF MY MEMORIALS, SOME WERE GIVEN TO THE OTHER PERSON OR PERSONS WHO JUST POSTED LAST YEARS OR SOONER, WHEN MINE WAS POSTED 7 0R 8 YEARS AGO.
***DO NOT TAKE MY PERSONAL PHOTOS OF MY FAMILY AND PLACE THEM ON ANCESTRY OR ANY OTHER WEBSITES***

|Tammy Rupp||RE: Help or info needed|
Oh thank you so much. All of us kids and our parents have wanted to know for years but no one in the family knew who it was other than it was on the Montgomery side. I don't have access to all of ancestry (mainly do to money) and I'm still learning how and where to go to find documents. I really appreciate your help. Thank you so much! My mother is up and possibly be leaving tomorrow so now I have enough time to add that info. in and at least be able to show her something. Thank you again.
|Doug Montgomery||RE: Hiram (Red) Montgomery's children|
Thanks Sherry! You are a blessing. I figured it must be something I was dining wrong :)
|Doug Montgomery||Hiram (Red) Montgomery's children|
Is there a glitch with Find a Grave that limits the number of children?
I noticed that, Jean, Ed, Norma, Georgia and Joe are not listed as Grandpa Hiram's children.
|Doug Montgomery||RE: Hiram Red Montgomery|
Thanks Sherry! I need to post my dad's grave info.
|Tammy Rupp||Help or info needed|
Hello Sherry my name is Tammy Rupp my grandfather was Lewis Daniel Jenkins, his father Clarence, his James Harvey, and his father was Francis Marion Jenkins.
Please bare with me a moment I've only really just been researching for the last 2 months and I'm kind of at a loss as to how to word this.
Ever since I was little I have been told that there is Cherokee Indian in us. I was talking to my mother a couple weeks ago and she says all she can remember is that she thinks it has something to do with the Montgomery side. Now Francis's first wife Synthia I found a death record for her that says her father was Ben Montgomery. I'm assuming him and Elizabeth divorced or he died. I cant find anything of proof after that. Francis's mother Sarah was a Montgomery as well. I've noticed on the find a grave website there is no last name for her mother Elizabeth. For the amount of Indian I remember my grandfather saying he had in him; in order for that to work out or even be close it has to be Synthia, Francis's wife or his mother, Elizabeth.
I guess I'm asking have you ever heard about the Indian or have you found any proof you would be willing to share with me.
Hind sight. I wish I had started this back when my grandfather and great grandmother Edna was still alive.
Oh, my mother said that Edna my great grandmother did call or write (I cant remember which, Sandy, my mother told me) the Indian side of us and that they were in Oklahoma. I'm gonna assume the reservation.
Any help you can throw my way or any errors I might have that need fixed would be greatly appreciated.
Just in case my e-mail is Tsue20@hotmail.com

|Manton Ray||Mouth of Coon|
I've noticed that there are two Find-a-Grave listings that could lead to further confusion. The listing for "Mouth of Coon" has just 25 memorials while the listing for "Howard Mouth of Coon Creek" has more than 60 memorials. Do you think it would be wise to move the memorials from the smaller into the larger, since both listings are for the same cemetery? I know this can never be "perfect"; but, I do think we're moving in the right direction. Thanks for letting me pester you again.
Would you like me to transfer his memorial to you or the family?
