Ruby, I have lost my information and email on you.
Would love to reconnect.

I am sorry I am just now replying, some 3 years later. I haven't messed with findagrave.com for many years now as my family has grown and I've been required to become "DAD" more often. :)..
It's very nice to see your message and know that I brought you happiness by simply taking a picture of your loved ones memorial. That makes my day and totally makes doing this worth while.
Just FYI, I am finding the time to get back into findagrave.com and plan to hit it hard this summer.
Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

In reference to your message about Elijah. I have made the corrections you suggested including his county of birth and his date of death. The date of death I had was from "The Illinois Roll of Honor" Volume 1, page 611. printed in Springfield, IL in 1929. I verified that his pension record gives the date of death you provided.
If you want, I would be happy to transfer this memorial to you. If so please reply with your ID number. All the Best...Mike

You are so welcome. It is my honor to do it. Blessings,

Ruby, you are correct that both William Lewises died at the Battle of Stones River, one from the 21st Illinois and one from the 22nd Illinois. The Stones River NC interment list shows the one from the 22nd buried in grave C-1119, and no grave for the one from the 21st. So, either he was buried as one of the many unknowns or his body was returned to his family for burial in a cemetery of their choosing. However, he does not yet show up on Find A Grave.

Glad I could help.
I have entered the info you shared on Mr. Lyster. I love adding historical information to any memorials I manage. I know some do not. I think it gives us a little more of a glimpse into our ancestors' time here on earth. Thanks for sharing!
