Ralph & Geraldine Hood
Hello Dana,
Could you take an updated photo of Ralph & Geraldine's combined headstone and save it to both of their profiles? Since you took the original for Ralph's memorial, I think you ought to have the opportunity to be credited with the update ;)

Thank you,
Steven D. Fairweather

How are you doing? Haven't heard from you for a very long time.I hope everything is alright. I was
looking at the memorial you put in for Scharlotta & noticed that you hadn't put in her mama. Her name is Amanda Davis. Thought you would like to add her.Altho her & her second husband are buried in a tiny cemetery in Ozark County, Mo.The cemetery really has no name other than being called Little Cemetery.

Anna and Abraham Wilbur
Hello Dana,

Thank you so much for updating the marriage info for Anna and Abraham. There has been so much confusion about Anna's identity and just about everyone on Ancestry has it wrong. Hopefully we have cleared up some of the confusion. Bob Saunders did a nice chalking of the two headstones if you want to see them.

Thank you so much for creating these memorials, how are you related to them? Is there any chance you would transfer the management of these two memorials to me? I'm going to continue to research them and don't want to bug you with changes and updates.

RE: Anna ARNOLD vs. Anna Lockwood ARNOLD & Charcoal Furnaces
According to what Bob Saunders found and the book, "Charcoal Furnaces of Hanging Rock", both Abraham & Anna ARNOLD WILBUR are buried in the Lincoln Furnace Cemetery in Jackson County. Thanks for all your help Dana! The mystery is solved. :)

Anna ARNOLD vs. Anna Lockwood ARNOLD & Charcoal Furnaces
Dana, I am the individual who wrote to you and requested removal of the name "Lockwood" from Anna Arnold, who is married to Abraham Wilbur. Thank you for doing so. I am happy to share the research I gathered that proves they are two different women.

I also located a digitized version of the book, "Hanging Rock Iron Region of Ohio: An Authentic Narrative of the Past, with an Extended Survey of the Industrial and Commercial Development", authored by Eugene B. Willard, Daniel. W. Williams, George O. Newman & Charles B. Taylor, published in 1916, which is a 1340 page, 48,335KB pdf document. This book is a narrative incorporating West Virginia, Kentucky & Ohio containing a wealth of historical information on those areas.

I also created a pdf of the book "Charcoal Furnaces of Hanging Rock", authored by Virgil & Marguerite Ramsey, published in 1989, which is a 93 page, 19,903KB pdf document. This book gives information concerning the charcoal furnaces of southeastern Ohio and northeaster Kentucky, most of which were out of operation by 1900. Information from gravestones during the furnace era are included, along with an index.

RE: Abraham and Anna Arnold Wilbur
Hi Dana,

It's so good to hear from you. You will also need to remove Joseph and Deborah Hacker Arnold as the parents, they are Anna Lockwood Arnold's parents.

Thanks so much, we are still trying to verify the cemetery. There is no Paine Cemetery in Hamden, but a volunteer went to the Lincoln Cemetery where it was published in a book that they were buried and he didn't see their headstones. I sent him pictures of the headstones so he is going to go back and try again.

He said that the Bundy-Paine Cemetery in Wellston is well documented and that the Anna and Abraham Arnold Wilbur are not listed there.

The mystery continues, thanks for your help!
