| Bio and Links | | I've been doing family history for awhile. Now I'm trying to find their resting places and record them with gps coords and pictures if possible. I'm a 32nd degree Mason and Scottish Rite. I will try and find people for others if possible. | |

 | Righter I took your request photo for the righter cemtery and some extras. I plan to go back and catalog the whole cemtery which is not that large but chocked full of history. If you can make plans to go see it do so. It is an old family cemetery with members of the righter family living right down the road form it however it is no longer their land but the land owners are great. The cemtery is still fenced off with the old cement posts and and cable. With a newer wooden fence surrounding it. It still has the old support posts for the canopy that went over the graves so the family could visit and eat on the grounds! It is cool. There are revolutionary war markers in the cemtery along with authentic CSA markers! History! Anyway I was excited to do this request!
To find the cemtery off of 1-79 take the saltwell road exit towards shinnston.
2 miles from 79 you will come to Nixon Hollow Road. Right there on the corner is a house belonging to the Pattersons. A new brick home. Their name is on the mailbox. On the hill directly behind the house is the cemtery which you can see from the road. The Pattersons are NICE people and have made the cemtery available but installing gates around their horse pasture for the family to visit. They were very helpful. | | | Heidi
