Hi Ron, wanted to thank you on taking great pictures of my 3rd Great grandpa James W. McMillen 39159009
I also seen that you took pic's of Margaret E. McMullin 102483208. I think this maybe His Daughter Margeret E. McMillen Hunter. I looked close at the pic you took and her birth looks 1860. I know she was married to a D.R. Hunter. and died about the time of what is on the marker. James was living with her at the time of his death and I have seen D.R. Hunter on some papers about him saying that was his Daughter. the marker is hard to read and I want to thank you for taking the time to do it. I have never been up to McFall, and with it over 5 hours away, I probably never will. Thanks again Mike M.

Guy Allen, Memorial # 60904387
May I have permission to use the photo of Guy Williard Allen's headstone for my Ancestry.com Family Tree, please? Guy died in Camp McArthur, Texas due to complications of the flu. It's always nice to have something tangible when there is no access to family pictures. Guy is my 2nd cousin 2 times removed.

Thank you for your consideration.
Beth

Joseph Gilchrist, Quantrill's Raiders
One of Quantill's 1st recruits... Just curious why you believe that he died at the Jordan Lowe house... They were ambushed by the 7th Missouri Infantry, preparing to attack Harrisonville. Another Raider, William Carr, is listed as having died in the ambush at the Jordan Lowe house in Pink Hill, which took place on April 15, 1862. Joseph Gilchrist most likely was fatally wounded during the ambush at the Lowe house, and died later in the night or the following day... Just curious if there is more information out there that I have not seen... I'm such a history buff. :)

Julia Rutherford Anderson
Thank you, Ron Mac. Finding Julia was a real serendipity. I had no idea any of my Bond County Rutherfords were right here in my own backyard, until I just happened upon your memorials from Elmwood Cemetery. Thanks for the transfer.
