RE: Calwell (Caldwell) Cemetery, White Sulphur Spring, WV
Ok great! I work at the Greenbrier so that won't be a problem for me. I have a great relationship with the current historian, Dr. Conte, so as soon as the weather breaks I will get right on this!

Could you tell me where this cemetery is located? I am familiar with this area (I live here) but I am unfamiliar with this particular cemetery in my travels.

hi thanks for the question, michael bowyer is my 5th great grandfather, andi have talked to a gentleman who is familiar with the area and he went to the cemetery and told me michael was buried in a row with the heath's and said they had no dates on the markers. i'm planning on coming to the area this summer and he is going to take me to the cemetery and i am planning on transcribing the cemetery. i do have some bowyer family info. thanks and take care.

RE: Mary Ewald and Charlie Mustard
Thank you! I'm so glad you found the stone, regardless. It's VERY strange! I wonder when cemeteries normally DO with stones when the interred are moved? And in this case, they were moved to a mausoleum... So they couldn't reuse the stone.

Now to try to figure out Mary's correct birth date... Since someone posted her death cert on her memorial you can see that date doesn't match the tombstone I found, and I think I recall when I was at the mausoleum that at least one of the dates carved for one of my family there was not what I'd thought it should be. I'll post a photo request for those and see if someone can get access. Oh, how I wish someone could find a family Bible!! I do think that early census is the nearest to the truth. Seems a lot of women in my father's family were "forgetful" with their ages when they reported to census enumerators ;)

Mary Ewald and Charlie Mustard
Hi, Sheila -

Could you please remove the Maple Park tombstone photos you added to my great-grandparents' memorials? They are incorrect records. Both Mary and Charlie are now confirmed to be interred at Monte Vista, as I have them listed in their memorials. Thank you!

RE: Mary Ewald Mustard
My thought was that the death certificate confirmed Maple Park, but I'm not aware of the body being moved, but I'm not a family member.

Thank you for the headstone photo of Mary Ewald Mustard. You identified the photo as "Mary Ewald Mustard, wife of Charles Henry Mustard. Maple Park Cemetery, Bluefield, Mercer County, WV". According to F.A.G. Memorial, she is buried at Monte Vista Park Cemetery. Please confirm which cemetery you found the grave.

Thank you so much for posting the pictures of my great grandmother's grave marker! My mother and I have never been to the cemetery in Bluefield, and it means so much to know Great Grandmother has a well kept marker out there. My mother is low vision, and losing more of her sight every day, so for her to be able to see this before she's completely blind is truly a blessing!!

Thank you again, and God Bless,

(a fellow) Sheila
