 | John Augustus information Dennis,
John Augustus is my 6th great grandfather on my mother's side. I spoke with my mother tonight and wanted to see if perhaps my great grandmother Jennie Richey nee Augustus would have ever mentioned anything about her 3rd great grandfather being King George II son. My mother confirmed that yes great grandma had talked about it and that yes it was true. She also stated that it is written down in a book or in something my grandmother had. Since my grandmother passed, I know have this book & all of her family history. I will be reading through the information I have to double verify.Added by Rebecca on Nov 30, 2012 6:48 PM | | | Anonymous
 | Mifflin Cem. Gahanna OH - Carol Green In searching family history I found that Carol Green was a great niece to Emory C. Armstrong; also buried in Mifflin Cem. Her grandfather Holmes Wesley Green was my great uncle. I haven't found a relationship to the other Greens in Mifflin Cem., (yet). (Child) Carol Green ancestors came from PA, while the other Green's in Mifflin Cem ancestors are from New Jersey. AS far as I can find, Carol Greens nearest and maybe only relative in Mifflin Cem is Emory. Hope this helps someone somewhere. Thanks! | | | Larry Cook
 | RE: Springer Augustus Like what you placed on Springer's page. Looks great. Interesting what you say about King George II. He did have a lot of mistresses including a woman named Amalia Sophia Marianne Gräfin von Walmoden. She was married to Adam Gottlob, count von Walmoden. She and the King did have a child named Johann Ludwig Graf von Walmoden-Gimborn b. 22 Apr 1736, d. 10 Oct 1811. He never did come to America. I don't believe his parentage was ever hidden. That being said, it does not mean that King George II did not father other children out of wedlock, so maybe John Augustus is a son of King George II. | | | Cissy
