I no longer live in Glendive, now make my home in Billings, MT. Having done genealogy for 45 years, I enjoy helping others connect. I believe the past belongs to the future, and the legacies are precious. I photograph cemeteries and create indexes for the Montana Tombstone project. I really like the "Find a Grave" web site, and I like what it is doing for people.|
Please let me know if there are any corrections.
I WOULD PREFER NOT TO BE CONTACTED FOR CEMETERIES MORE THAN 50 MILES (100 MILES ROUND TRIP) FROM MY HOME ZIP CODE! SORRY. This should be a consideration for volunteer contributors. Also, remember in the North, Snow covers cemeteries!

I sent you copies of Christina and Martin's obituaries by email. If you don't get them or have trouble with them, let me know.

I created a page (#133865582) for Martin and included some information that might be helpful to you. I also posted a picture of his marker. If you want an uncertified copy of his death certificate, copy this link:

I saw the message you left for WJH. I filled the request for Christine KORDAHL's marker and while I was there, I noticed that Martin's marker was right next to it. He was born 7 Dec 1852 and died 3 Jul 1927. If you want to request a photo of the stone, I can post it.

Can you transfer my brother Percy over to me. I am linking my family up.
Than you for putting him in.
Thank you for the transfer. I didn't see George but I'll fix up Christina's and connect her to family. Appreciate it very much.

Thank you so much for taking the picture of my mother's headstone, I was very surprised to find it on here.
|Syd Gardner||Fairview Cemetery!|
You popped that one on me almost before I'd finished the memorial for my grandmother! I'm originally from Fairview (many, many years ago) & although I KNOW my grandparents are buried there, I'm gonna have to find someone to take some photos since I'm in Southern California!
I do, however, have a cousin still living up there & am hoping that she or someone close to her would be willing to trek out to the Fairview Cemetery to take some photos! Have to contact her soon!
Thank you, by the way, for adding the cemetery photo!
Thank you for linking my cousin to his parents. I also appreciate the re arrangement of photos. Genealogy info can be valuable but photos first are more valuable.
James Elliott told me you took some photos of headstones for him. We are now creating a book for his family and would like to have your permission to use them in the book. You would of course be given credit for the photos. If you have any questions you can contact me here or at email@example.com
