Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello. My name is Kevin West. The surnames nearest to me are West, Patterson, Hunt, Edwards, McKeighan, Richardson, Van Wagoner, Creley, Culbertson, Farewell, Hudson, Wilbur, Gaige, Brooks, Bond, Howard, Wakefield, and Grisham. I love old photographs and connecting them with ancestors.

I am the 9th great grandson of our original West Family immigrant, Francis West (1606-1692) of Duxbury, Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts. Francis was married to Margary Reeves. I am more than happy to help you with any West family or related histories.

I am also descended from Richard Warren, a Mayflower passenger, through Drusilla Presbury, who married my 6th great grandfather, the Rev. Thomas West of Rochester, Massachusetts.

Victor A. Hunt
I collect autographs and a while back came across a large box of Riggs National Bank checks, which I have been researching for awhile now. I came across several bank drafts with the name and signature Victor A, Hunt on them, dated May to June , 1918. Perhaps this is the Victor Hunt listed. I read the bio on the man and his death in December, 1918, and if so this would place him in Washington D.C. On the dates in question. Perhaps this info is useful to you.

Wilbur family line
Hi Kevin,
I am a descendant of the Wilbur family from RI. In later gens. there is a Hartwell Cass Wilbur (1852 - 1929). Given the oddity of the name Hartwell I thought it might be a family name but was never able to make a connection between a Hartwell and Wilbur until I saw your family info at Findagrave and felt there might be hope.
My names are William Wilbur, b. 1772 in RI, probably died between 1850-1860 in Illinois, Hale, Warren Co., likely living with his son (and his family) - Leonard G. Wilbur (b. abt 1807, NY - died 03 Jun 1880 in Iowa. Leonard and Arvilla Jarvis had a son, Hartwell Cass/Caspar Wilbur, b. 07 Mar 1852 in Illinois, d. abt. 08 Apr 1929 in Iowa, Waterloo, Black Hawk Co. As a side note Hartwell had a daughter by the name of Julia Ann (I believe also one of your names).
Does any of this sound familiar to you? Most of my info is vague, no "hometowns" and I'm trying to find more info on William Wilbur (already mentioned - b. 1772 RI). Thanks for any help you can send my way... I've hit the brick wall :-( and there are bajillions of Wilburs. Irene Smith-Rice -

RE: Melvin Nordrum
Kevin, I would love to hear the long story if you don't mind. This is an Uncle of mine and we don't have much information on him as he married into our family. Would love to know more about your Marion Allen Patterson. Where and when was he born? Where was he raised? How are you related to him?
Please feel free to use my email address to correspond after this. Thank you Sue

Dr. James Culbertson
Thank you for informing me that my memorial on Dr. James Culbertson was a duplicate. I have deleted the memorial that I created. James Culbertson is my 3rd great grandfather. We must be related since he is your 4th great grand uncle. I think we have crossed paths before on I would be very interested in talking about the Culbertson line.
