Shirley Reynolds Presnell
Hi Dave...

I was wondering if maybe you could help me out. I noticed that you contributed several photos from Williams Coal Creek Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma for the surname Reynolds.

A while back I submitted a photo request sometime back for the grave of Harvey Presnell. Harvey had been married to a Shirley Reynolds, who should also be buried in that cemetery as well. One of Harvey & Shirley's grandchildren is one of my roommates and I am direly trying to get a photo of their headstones for him.

I received a message from another user that told me that she was unable to locate Harvey's grave. My roommate tells me that he should be buried right next to his grandmother who's name is Shirley Reynolds Presnell. Unfortunately, there is currently no Find A Grave memorial for Mrs. Presnell.

What I was wondering is if it would be possible for you to visit the cemetery and see if you could find a headstone for Shirley and also see if Harvey has a headstone as well. Harvey is Find A Grave memorial #64436830.

Thank you so much!
-Terry

RE: John Posey Grantham
I have a total of 9 children for John and Narcissa. 7 daughters and 2 sons. I've not researched them but can.

Both John and Narcissa are buried at Old Mt Pleasant Cemetery. I've often wondered why Narcissa came back to Montgomery Co, IL after John died. Perhaps to help Joanna with her children. There were 3 as far as I know, Edward, Narcissa and Charles. I'm not even totally sure of Joanna's husband's name, have been told it was Richard and that he died and left her with 3 small children.

RE: John Posey Grantham
I created a memorial for him and linked him Narcissa. Their daughter, Joanna, is buried at Hopewell Cemetery in Montgomery Co. I did find one of her kids in Decatur, Macon County, IL in 1900 and I think another one in Iowa in 1910. I "borrowed" the pictures you have of John and Narcissa and posted them on their memorials.
