I would like to thank all of the Find-A-Gravers who have created many memorials that have enabled us to be able to link our family members together.
I have been doing genealogy research in the US and England for over 50 years. My family lines... BYBEE, FOWERS, CLAWSON, POOLE, HOOPES

Text Layers on photos
We have several camera/pic processing programs that allow text. Mine is Canon and my husband uses MCG. Takes some practice to set up the layers in the color, font and placement. Never tried with Microsoft Office, but that would be a likely feature. Have some fun!

She was my great great grandmother. I talked with you several years ago when I had gotten interested in genealogy. If I remember correctly I was going to send you some info, sorry I never did. Anyway I noticed you had her listed as being buried without marker at Square Cedar Cemetery in Major County Oklahoma. She is buried in Arapaho Oklahoma.

I do have a picture of the area-Section E, Blk 2, Lot J. I tried to send it to you, but it was rejected by the mail administrator.
I would post it if you wanted and/or add the name somewhere out in area.
I do know for certain that this Section is a mix of much older burials with a few more recent. I know for certain that there are a number of other burials that do not have markers in that specific section.

We just found a life sketch on Aunt "Vene". It tells a little about her husband. Would you like a copy? We can create an obit for her memorial or would you like to? It also tells why no one knows where her husband is buried.

RE: Oliver Burdett duplicate memorial
I recommend you hold off on deleting your memorial and send an email request to Find a Grave at to transfer the original into your care. THEN go back and ask them to merge yours into the original. This will merge the two into one under YOUR care (which is where I believe it should be) AND none of the photos will be lost.

I know this sounds like a very roundabout way of getting this done but the original contributor seems to no longer be active and I've been working to get her 200+ duplicates in Custer National removed. Find A Grave has simply been merging them but only into the original.

I hope you're following all this and I'm not confusing you ~ please be patient but let me know how it all comes out.

Thanks bunches,

RE: Laura Button Bybee
Just found where I came upon Laura Bybee. Laura and husband John Bybee's daughter was Bertha Mae Bybee who married Lionel Wesley Marquett. Their daughter was Helen Louise Marquett, who married Raymond C. Kortum. Raymond's parents were Frederick William and Agnes Dorothea (Schneider) Kortum. The Schneider family is related to my family going back into Germany.

Side note: I see some people are sending you Bybee obituaries. Not sure if they are related to John and Laura Bybee. If I should find how I can upon the Bybee's to begin with, I will let you know.
