Bio Photo Feel free to use my photos for your genealogy research, but please mention that you got the photo from findagrave.
When I do headstone hunts, its nice to get a thank-you from the requester! Also, when writing to me, add a salutation at the beginning, and a thank-you at the end!
Also, thank you to everyone who follows through and makes the enhancements that I send.

Use a mirror to reflect the sunlight off of the stones lettering. I have a cheap $10.00 mirror that is about 4 feet high. I can hold the mirror in one hand, and take the photo with the other hand.
Another place to find your ancestors gravestone photos is on: just search for their name.

A complete and searchable listing of the Hale collection is now available on To find it, click on "search" at the top of the screen. Bring down the drop down list, and click on "card catalog". Then, in the search box, type in "Hale". Then click on it, and you can do a name search. Be advised that not all names come up.

The Old Cove Burying Ground in East Haddam is in need of care, and we need volunteers to help clean up this ancient cemetery. Yes - John William Cruikshank Abbott and Jeanette Davidson Abbott.

I added John William but can't find Jeanette.

I also edited Meyer's date of birth and death, which should be added soon.

Are you related to him?

RE: Mary (Lewis) Stone 30112904
I would suggest just deleting the Dup memorial. I believe that they will then just give me a $5.00 credit that I have use in the future.
