Roxane Copeland
Hi There!!
Mrs. Vause: Hello there! My name is Roxane Copeland and maiden name is Kendall. My parents were Patricia Ann McMinn and Richard Freeman Kendall. My Dad's Mother was Stella Augustine Vincent and her husband was Albin C. Kendall. Her brother James Edwin or Edmond Vincent, married Clara or Clarissa Lee Dykes and they are all above buried in Evergreen
Cem. in Sanford, Florida. I was wondering if you had any information on The Dykes'Family. My email is or write me on my findagrave page. With blessings of thanks, Roxane

RE: Sidney H Davis
Hi Pat, and thanks for getting in touch. The parents of my Sidney Davis were John Davis and Mary Serena Holland. So unfortunately I don't think there is a connection to your Sidney Davis. Sorry about that! Best of luck, Maddie

We have never been sure if her birth name was Clara, Clarissa or Clara Belle. Just as Weitzal's name has been spelled Waitsell, Wardsell, and Waightsell amongst other spellings. Okay so Clara Wright married Charles Wilson Carr and had two children, Marita Lenore Carr (my grandmother) and Leslie C Carr (her brother). Side note, her sister Margaurite also had a daughter named Marita. Charles W Carr died in 1921, she latter married George Edward Buck and was buried next to him in Greenwood cemetery in Spokane WA. Charles Wilson Carr and Leslie (1896-1944) were buried next to each other not too far from Clara and George. Leslie was married to Faye and had a daughter but I cannot find her name. I am sure I have it somewhere and can get it later. So back to my grandmother. She married Joseph Record (Patrick) Killin (Patrick as added after they became catholic)and had 4 children, two who lived to adulthood, Charles George Killin and my father Joseph Oren Killin. I have pretty good genealogy on this line, but I moved in June and most of my papers and pictures are in storage and I stopped subscribing to while I am in influx so I do not have immediate access to everything. The Wrights and Carrs are my favorite lines because I have found so much real history that I feel like I know them. Are you related to John W. Wright? What is your connection? Thanks, Korolyn

You're welcome, Pat. It always thrills me when I find out that I've been able to further another person's research.

Happy Hunting!

You are quite welcome. I remember Aunt Eileen talking so much about ya'll. Lewis and Lowell were like my brothers. We did everything together. Uncle Lewis was my daddy's brother so I was close to them all.

You mentioned about someone in Dawson finding his grave. Does not exist, I have looked 3 times. You do not live that far and maybe you will have a better chance of finding him. A broken marker lying on the ground gets gone.
