Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy is my passion so when I add a memorial I try to find out vital info for that person.

My motto- "If you donít know your history, then you donít know anything. You are a leaf that doesnít know it is part of a tree."~ Michael Crichton

Primary family surnames researching: Rice, Trainor, Marin, Berube, Heavner, Mick, Pritt

I have added memorials from some photographs I have taken, obituaries, death records/certificates found in public records and some cemetery listings and veterans records.

Please DO ask for transfers.
I believe memorials belong to those who loved or know more about them than I. Their memorial will be better honored with your personal knowledge of them.
Will only refuse those I am related to.

Welcome corrections, additions and links to family members. Please use the edit tab.

My photos of GRAVES ONLY may be copied. I took them for you and anyone interested. Why take them and post them here if not sharing? Personal photos I wish to be contacted for permission to copy so I know whose hands they are in.

Photo quality varies with light and weather. If you captured a better photo than mine and wish to post it, just let me know so I can delete mine.

Obituaries are copyrighted, so I won't post them but use info from them. I will ignore obituaries sent to me to post.

Unmarked graves sadden my heart.
An Irish poem that reminds us marking our loved ones final resting places is a special gift.

Scatter me not to the restless winds
Nor toss my ashes to the sea.
Remember now those years gone by
When loving gifts I gave to thee.
Remember now the happy times
The family ties are shared.
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared.
Deny me not one final gift
For all who came to see.
A simple lasting proof that says
I loved and you loved me.

RE: Edward & Edmond Credit
Hi Linda,
My computer is doing better so I was going to be adding some photos. If I add photos that have multiple family members on the stone did you want to add then or did you want me to add them? I just haven't had enough time to add more than 4 to 10 in a day so it's been a slow cemetery to get filled recorded due to my work schedule. Since I usually try to find out as much as I can about someone when adding them I don't get very many done. Excited to be able to see Village getting some attention! I can always send you an email with a last name so you know who's photo I put up and then I can add the photo to the other family members. Some photos I will be retaking since I just got a new camera and the pictures come out much better than with the iPad. Just let me know what you think.

Thanks! Cathy

I also think I will be replacing the distance picture since the grass wasn't grown in yet & I personally am not happy with that.

I'll get that fixed on my lunch break. I was trying to use my iPad to put up pictures since I have most of those stones photographed already but there just aren't enough hours in the day for me to add people in Village every day! It's doesn't work as well with my iPad as it does with my computer & that is in the process of being repaired at the moment. Once I punch out for lunch I'll get it fixed.

Again I'm super happy someone is adding all of those names so now I can just go and add the pics I've been slowly working away at!

RE: Fletcher in Village Cem Shirley,MA
I'll link them up this eve once my computer is back up & running. I have a lot of trouble using the site on my tablet. Thanks for working on the people in Village Cemetery! I was beginning to think I was the only one adding names. While I live right next door & can walk over after work it can be overwhelming seeing all of the unrecorded folks there! It's not large but most of the cemetery is not recorded yet. Same with Center Cemetery in Shirley. It seems like people started but just stopped for some reason. Now I have names to look for on my daily walk!

RE: Fletcher in Village Cem Shirley,MA
They may not have been related just could have been "chosen family" and been really close. There are a number of plots that I have been working on that the families there seem to have no blood relation just the fact that they came over to the States at the same time. There is a plot that has 4 families from Canada that have no obvious blood ties. It would be interesting to see if they were related somehow.

Correction - it is the Davies family from England that they share a plot with.

Got photos of the Fletcher family today (154705132 - Edward & Isabella & Mary). You wouldn't happen to know their relationship to the Davis family would you? They are in the Davis plot with Joseph, Lillian, Edith & Ethel. Let me know what you think.

RE: Maud E Powers/Lyndon Center cem. edit
Took me awhile too...she is listed as Elva Maud Ham, d/o John and Helen (Lunderville) Ham.
Took awhile for hubby too, till I figured out his name was legally Leroy. Sure does make things challenging!!!

Maud E Powers/Lyndon Center cem. edit

Just wanted to explain my decline of her place of birth and death.
I had found her and her sister Lucy's birth records that state that they were born in Derby and Newport.

I have also added photos.
