I am a great-grandfather, born in 1937, who just got started with the project in the summer of 2007.|
Being an ex-smoker and having COPD I find this to
be a very good way to get the fresh air and exercise I need.
I got started with cemetery photos a few years ago to add information to the family history my wife Nancy and I are working on.
Joined the Navy Oct. 13, 1955, a member of the U.S. Navy SeaBees, discharged Sept. 21, 1959.
My photographing cemetery work has been mostly in Ashland County, Ohio and adjoining counties, some work in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and North Carolina, extended family.
I am getting to many transfer requests that just for adding information that is not within the Find A Grave guidelines. I will no longer make transfers, if you want information added send it & I will add it......Bill

Thank you for the tip....I found photos on ebay and postcards of people and getting them back to family members
|Anna Chandler||Ray Chidester|
I recently did a reading for the Rice Cemetery in Upshur County WV and that the same Ray Chidester that you have listed as being buried in the Rock Cave Cemetery. The obituary really didn't state where he was going to be buried. I've reposted the obituary that you have on the Rock Cave listing (with credit to you) in an entry for the Rice Cemetery.
Thought you might like to know of the actual location of Mr. Chidester's resting place.
I would like to vist. Newell cemetery, but am having trouble finding it on a map. Could you a road or intersection to locate it?
Thank you for the transfer.

I have added a picture to your beautiful memorial. Just wanted to let you know. I am working on that cemetery for findagrave.

I wanted to thank you for the work you have done. I am visiting Ashland for the 200th anniversary of the family farm. My mother grew up on that farm; and I am submitting records to link her brother and sister in Dickey Church cemetery to her parents at Ashland Cemetery. I will continue on to further generations back, and since you are on their records also, I thought I would let you know of my relationship. Mother is a genealogical worker, as well, and we are putting together a book to hand out at the farm on Saturday. Meanwhile I am also wanting to start some of this documentation on FindaGrave since I enjoy it when I uncover relationships and bios.
