Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a great-grandfather, born in 1937, who just got started with the project in the summer of 2007.

Being an ex-smoker and having COPD I find this to
be a very good way to get the fresh air and exercise I need.

I got started with cemetery photos a few years ago to add information to the family history my wife Nancy and I are working on.

Joined the Navy Oct. 13, 1955, a member of the U.S. Navy SeaBees, discharged Sept. 21, 1959.

My photographing cemetery work has been mostly in Ashland County, Ohio and adjoining counties, some work in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and North Carolina, extended family.

I am getting to many transfer requests that just for add information that is not within the Find A Grave guidelines. If the request is only to add information and notes I will no longer make them, I will be glad to add any information you wish to be a part of the memorial within reason. Find A Grave spells out very clearly their guidelines for transfers and are easy to understand.

Mary Ellen Claypool
Sent you an edit for her maiden name which was Rigan. That name came from her daughter Creadtha Pearl Claypool records in Ohio, Births and Christenings Index, 1800-1962 on Ancestry.

RE: Rachel R. Huntebarry Stearns ID# 45659202
Hi Bill! I see you have Rachel Huntebarry Stearns, she is my Great-Great-Great Grandmother on my mother's side. I'm so grateful you took the time and effort to record her memorial information. Would it be possible for a transfer to me?
Again, thank you for everything!

I do apologize. I had contacted you recently in "edit" for a middle name change- I have since received information and documents - that confirm his correct given name was Madison James Adams. His father was Madison JOHN Adams. So was no senior or junior. sorry for mix up- I have sent correction through edit tab. thanks.

Hi Bill
I saw you had some of my relatives listed. Nellie Freeman Byerly is one of them. She was my grandfather's sister.
Thank you for adding info about her! I have her obit around somewhere, but not sure where exactly and it is exactly what you put up for her!

Excellent photo of Aunt Fern and Harley Jacob's headstone.
She was my Grandmother's Aunt on her mother's side--or my great-grandmother, Mary Amelia Rader-Leary's sister.

Thank you Bill, for the transfer of my ancestors. Thank you very much for all the time and effort you have put into Ashland County and surrounding areas and the creation and maintenance of these memorials... I have been able to find the graves of a great many of my family members through your work.

I notice you have both names in your records, so have to ask... Do you know anything related to my husband's ancestors William Martin & Phoebe Dawson, who were married in Greenup Co KY in 1846, then had one or two children in OH before settling in MO before 1850? I have plenty of info on them 1850 on, but can't seem to figure out who their parents were.

I have added pictures to both memorials. If you don't want them on your memorials, let me know and I will delete them. I have also used the edit option to add Ralph's middle name. Kline was his mother's maiden name.

Just a note...
Thanks for the transfer! Also, one of the edits I just sent is regarding memorial #22508657 -- I removed Yeager as her maiden name as Anna C.E. Fast actually married her cousin William Fast.
