Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a great-grandfather, born in 1937, who just got started with the project in the summer of 2007.

Being an ex-smoker and having COPD I find this to
be a very good way to get the fresh air and exercise I need.

I got started with cemetery photos a few years ago to add information to the family history my wife Nancy and I are working on.

Joined the Navy Oct. 13, 1955, a member of the U.S. Navy SeaBees, discharged Sept. 21, 1959.

My photographing cemetery work has been mostly in Ashland County, Ohio and adjoining counties, some work in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and North Carolina, extended family.

I am getting to many transfer requests that just for adding information that is not within the Find A Grave guidelines. I will no longer make transfers, if you want information added send it & I will add it......Bill

Fianna Jane Deshong
Hello Bill, Thank you for all you've done to help me trace my Deshong ancestors. I have been researching the families who moved from Lancaster County Pennsylvania to Ashland County Ohio. Fianna Jane Deshong remained single until death, so the tombstone you show for her that includes "Arthur" is not hers. Another Deshong family member, Sarah Elizabeth Deshong (1848-1928) married Edwin C Arthur (1848-1893); I believe the stone belongs to them (and is already shown with them).

George Watters/Rhoda V Watters
George is the son of James and Ann Lowery Watters..they are buried at the old Union Presbyterian Church in PA Butler County. Not sure who is in charge of their memorial but it would be really nice if you/they would connect George with his parents. George is my great great Uncle. Thanks, Lee

bernard s. weaver 2016-2008

I believe this may be for an administrator.

I am David Weaver, and my father is Bernard S. Weaver 2016-2008. Barney's grave and information was on your site a week or so ago. He was listed as Bernard (Batney) Weaver, and I asked Batney to be corrected to Barney. That was done, and other info I provided was also added by Bill Miller. I check now to find that he is no longer listed on Find A Grave. I wondered if he was removed in error, or if there was anything I can do to fix this. He is buried close to his son Stephen C. Weaver in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Crestline, Ohio. I also provided some information on Stephen, but it was never added.

Thanx millions!

Burge Cemetery
Thank you for visiting that tiny cemetery! I like to see the old lonely ones being looked after! It seems that they updated some memorials in the 30's so info wouldn't be lost so that was nice! I could link them to some family that traveled to Niles MI (and married into my line!)I like to make the links to old 'lost' family so I feel accomplished this evening! Thanks too Seabee for your service - my son is an active duty Marine so fair winds and following seas! - jWheeler
