I have been very happy that I was able to discover (and sometimes view) the final resting places of some of my distant progenitors on |
Find A Grave.
After finding this website, I began entering relatives, friends and acquaintances. But it then grew to adding unknowns (to me) at local California cemeteries, and sometimes at distant cemeteries.
You have my permission to post the grave marker photos that I have up-loaded here onto genealogy websites such as ancestry.com, et al, but please give me photo credit, i.e. "photo courtesy of Steve House" or similar acknowledgement added to the photo description.
I do NOT grant permission to sell, or make a profit from photos I have up-loaded on Find A Grave.

In your travels, I don't suppose you've run across a burial site for her - first wife of Thomas Henry Wilks? I can't find hide nor hair of her in the death or burial records.

Jack is also listed as having been born in Los Angeles County. For birth info, I'll take the birth index over death records and obits any day.
