John U & Nancy Ashby Crosby Alan, Sat afternoon (Feb 20, 16) I finally made it to Simpsonville, and tracked down the rough location of the "Crosby Cemetery" based on information from a former resident of the "neighborhood". It is off Todds Point Rd (1848) off Paddock Lane. Now most of the half mile lane is small horse farms. At the end of the lane is the Edwards estate, who last bought the property after the death of the Smith family. Unfortunately, a neighbor told me they were out of the area for the Winter. I will try to get back there some day. I will be sending Mr Edwards an letter.
Thanks for the information you posted on the flower section of Find A Grave for Joseph L. Stephens. I cannot find a list of persons buried in the Old Cynthiana cemetery. Would you be so kind to take a picture of his gravestone and send it to me. If he is indeed buried in the "Old Cynthiana" cemetery, I will make a change to his memorial with the new information and give you credit for it. It's always rewarding to find more of my distant relatives, especially those from Virginia and Kentucky. I strive to keep the records correct, and hope to hear back from you. Respectfully, Milton A. Stephens
