|I looked for my grandparents on this site, and didn't find them. I live in CA, and they are buried in NY. On a visit to NY, I visited their graves, and logged other graves from that cemetery. I didn't have much time to spend, and thus did not add as many names as I might have liked to, but hope it might help some other person find a family member.|

Trish, thanks for the info about Caroline VanLeuven.
You referred to "Social Security Applications and Claims Index" but the link to that name "http://search.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx%3Fdbid%3D60901" "is no longer available".
Can you send me a current URL for that info?
k2mi at frontiernet .net. Thank you.

I truly understand the frustration. Its good to have the info, but I know, from personal experience, the privacy issue needs to be respected.

Thanks for sending the obit. I will take what I can add, per find a grave rules. We are asked to not add survivors for privacy issues.

Hi again. I have now made the proper links (after re-reading your edit request; it all makes perfect sense). Thank you for setting the record straight.
Anyway, regarding the ordering of Death Certs, I have ordered informational copies on cousins and have never had a problem. Have you ever tried ordering through Vitalchek.com? Check it out next time you need one.

Someone just recently sent me that request to link. I am expecting that when people ask for a link, they have already done the research. It is not up to me to do everyone else's research and to verify that what they send me is correct. If what I am sent is wrong, then someone else can come along and establish the truth (which is what you are doing). Please send me the proper link and I will remove the incorrect one.
Unfortunately, I can't go back and see who sent the link without it taking quite a long time. To scroll through the edits I have done is just not feasible. The system places the most recent one at the bottom of the list, and I have thousands.

With reference to Vincente Roy, I have found conflicting information on her and her husband. You have detailed information on them so I have transferred them to you so that you may make the proper corrections.
Thanks for your input,

I added the obit you sent. Thanks.
|Linda Zapp||Re: John Montgomery Crick|
Forgot to add, I have a photo of John Montgomery Crick's grandparents, John C. and Anna Catherine (Clemmer) Crick (from an old tintype). Anna died in 1878, John C. died in 1883.
|Linda Zapp||RE: Thank you!!!|
Trish - I've added a link to John Montgomery Crick's parents on Find-A-Grave. His grandparents graves were plowed under by a farmer. I'll try to set up something for them, even though the cemetery no longer exists. That would take you back another generation. You should be able to click on my name on John Montgomery Crick's Find-A-Grave for my email. Email me as I have more information on this family. I'd like to know how your new son-in-law is related to JMC.
|Patricia Avery||Arthur Bilyeu|
Thank you for adding the memorial for Arthur Bilyeu. Uncle Art was my great-uncle and passed away when I was quite young. I was very surprised to find this post after all these years. Thank you again for remembering him, as he was a very nice man.
