|Bonnie Miller||RE: Voorhees photos|
Thanks so much, Maryann - I'm always happy when family finds the photos I post at findagrave.
|C Dolan||Anna Turbarg|
First of all, thank you soooo much for entering information in findagrave. It is so helpful for those of us seeking our past.
I came across your entry for Anna Turbarg buried in Sharon, CT Hillside cemetery and I believe some of the entry is wrong. You have the following information:
Birth: Apr., 1869
New York, USA
Death: Feb. 6, 1907
Wife of Joseph Turbarg
1900 Census, Goshen, Litchfield Co., CT:
Joseph Turbarg, b. 6-1866 CT, 33, farmer, parents b. France
Anna M. Turberg, b. 4-1869 NY, 31, parents b. NY, mother of 4, 4 living.
Amy L. Turberg, b. 6-1891, 8
Elsie M. Turberg, b. 4-1893, 7
Lester P. Turberg, b. 4-1895, 5
Harry F. Turberg, b. 1899, 1
Sandford B. Palmer, b. 10-1835 CT, 65, uncle.
My mother knew Anna M Turberg who was married to Joseph E Turberg (1866-1929 - son of Joseph Turbarg) and was alive in the 40s when my mother met her. Anna also shows up in census records after 1907. We believe the Anna Turbarg you have this information attached to is really the Ann Sneed Silvernail Turbarg who married Joseph Turbarg, the father (b. circa 1826 in Switzerland or perhaps France). Ann S.S. Turbarg died in 1907 and was buried by the town of Sharon in an unmarked grave (according to the Hillside spreadsheet) in plot PF 33. We are still trying to determine where/when Joseph Turbarg is buried. Ann was his second wife, Marguerite Devaux (France) was his first.
I didn't want to edit the entry until I contacted you so please let me know your thoughts. Thank you, Christy

Hi Mary Ann,
I'm so glad to hear from you - I was about to log off for the night. Yes, I do have an eBay store - here's a link to the other photos from that album
Previously sold photos were
- Harvey Davis and wife Catherine Apgar Davis - you can see that photo at findagrave memorial #49605471
- Agnes Kissam Voorhees mem #52049618
- Frederick Voorhees mem #21670034
- Eliza Van Buskirk Hopper Voorhees mem #6573882 (I didn't upload her photo because it is similar to the one already there
I've removed any links to that document, I definitely don't want to claim your work as my own, and there is enough info in the descriptions I think. I'll also remove the document from my server. I know how much work it must have been - it helped me a lot in researching these photos, so I was very glad to find it!
