My name is Shirley Scruggs Ridge. |
I am researching the names of ALEXANDER, HANCE, WIGLEY, SCRUGGS, RIDGE, and HAWKINS.
I started genealogy about 10 years ago. My goal was to find my paternal Grandmother's grave. Since my Dad was a baby when she died he wasn't sure where it was - just the general vicinity.
We did finally find it - but we couldn't get to it because it was on private property (no problem with that) and it was all grown up. Trees and snakes abounded according to the owner of the property. We were able to take him to the grave of his Maternal Grandmother.
I have continued my interest to this day.
I found my husband's Great-Grandparents graves on "Find A Grave". It meant so much to me that I hope that I can add names to help others with their search.

hi my name is sissy johnson & i was checking out the clinkingbeard memorials that you manage & i think, but am not sure, that a mix up was made. john robert clinkingbeard is listed as dianah remmer clinkingbeard's husband & edward masin's father, but he was born after edward masin was, i believe it was 1862. then when i was looking at john reed there is the same type of picture of him that is on dianah's memorial, plus their ages aren't that different. i am really glad i am not the only one who makes mistakes like this, but when you are working with the same names & all those date it gets kind of confusing sometimes, or at least it does to me. anyway, i thought you would like to know. sissy johnson firstname.lastname@example.org
