RE: Thomas William David McAlpin
That is fantastic! Which one of TWD McAlpin's children are you descended from? He is also my 4th great grandfather. We go from TWD McAlpin, Thomas J McAlpin, Calvin A McAlpin, Eula Mae McAlpin (Austin), Kathryn Austin (Wells), Glenda Wells (Curle). Can you e mail a picture of your Letters Patent? I would like to read it. Do you know who Alexander's parents are? Thanks for sharing, Kathy

Hi Dale I plan to go back to McAlpin cemetery and look around the outside of the fence to see if there are any graves. I did not find a marker for him in the fence. If I find one I will definitely post it. Thanks, Kathy

RE: Thomas William David McAlpin
Hi Earl,
Thomas McAlpin is also my 4th great grandfather. I have seen some of your research online concerning the connection in Scotland. I would be interested in any information you would be willing to share connecting Alexander McAlpine, Sr to Scotland. My sister took pictures of all the stones in the McAlpin Cemetery. I would also love to have a photo but we did not find a stone for Thomas William David McAlpin. The photo posted is of the section where several McAlpins are buried. If I can help you with anything else in the Memphis, TN area please let me know. Thanks, Kathy

RE: McAlpin/es
Hello Cousin!
I have read Doris's book as well. I have kept in touch with her, altough it's been awhile. She contacted me through Ancestry.com a couple of years ago. I have tried to find a copy of her book, but all the copies are gone. My local library has one, that is where I read it at. There are a couple of things in regards to my family that are incorrect. You wouldn't happen to know where the other brothers scattered to? I have most of them on Ancestry, but was trying to locate them on here. It's great to meet you!

McAlpin/es
Howdy. I have seen some of your memorials of McAlpin's. I am related to this line. My grandmother was Rosa McAlpine. Her father was Floydd Thomas McAlpine and his father was John FM McAlpine. His father was William Alexander and his mother was Manah Matilda McAlpin. I would love to know if you have more information. Thank you,
Rebecca
