|EAHJr||Memorial for William Lee "Willie" Brown|
As you know, Floral Garden Cemetery in High Point, NC is over 40 acres and the office will not help to locate gravesites. You probably received a message from a fellow Find a Grave member that the cemetery requires a letter of request and $5 before giving any plot location information. I disagree with this policy. So to help folks who have made photo requests at Floral Garden, I take along my list and camera as I go walking there, and keep a sharp eye for names. I find a few now and then.
At some point, there was a photo request for William "Willie" Brown and perhaps for his wife, Mary. I located the marker for Willie and Mary and will upload a photo if you will make another request. Many requests have been withdrawn because Floral Garden has instituted this new policy. If such is the case, please place a new
request and I will fulfill it. Since locating
markers is so difficult in Floral Garden, I wanted you to know since these could be relatives.

On the note I posted for your photo requests for these two twins, the book and page numbers I posted were for their births. The death records are book 10, pages 1504 & 1505. They were daughters of Peter Benton Norman Sr and Margaret Early. Peter was son of John William Norman, and John William was son of J. C. Norman.
I just met, on-line, a lady with Belton family information. If you would like to contact her, she is in California and her name is Jennie King. Her e-mail address is:
I'm e-mailing her to tell her you may be in contact.
Hope this helps,

No luck on the Beltons today, at the reunion. I did find a CSA grave marker at a cemetery near to Dora Belton's birthplace. Do you have a record of a Hamilton Belton?

I have a treat for you...I hope. I'll post a picture of George and Dora on their links, later today. I have no further info. on the Beltons. (I was hoping you had some info.). I'm meeting this weekend with family, who are more closely related to Dora, so I'll try and get more info. for you.

Could you add the links for my distant relative, Dora Belton's parents? You have her entered in the Oakdale Cemetery in Surry Co., NC.
Also, could you add the link to her husband, George?
(I have all of her 8 siblings linked, so she is "the missing link.")
If they are not relatives of yours, I would welcome a transfer of both Dora and George.

Amanda I searched Hillside Cemetery for David Wright. I could not locate his grave. I did locate many Wrights in this cemetery. I photographed all graves i discovered. If you would like these photos send me an EMail and I will foreward them to you. While walking the cemetery I ran into a preservator of the cemetery. He was repairing head stones in this cemetery. He advised me, if he happens across David's gave he will email it to me. He advised they take photos of all headstones. I hope this is of some help. email@example.com
