Live in Wilkinson Co, GA. Been researching family history for many years. My mother, Frances Bowen Frost, and I work together to fulfill Find a Grave photo requests, so often she will create memorials and post photos of cemeteries that we have photographed (she has my express permission to post any photos taken with my camera while we are working together & thus she has WAY more listings credited to her than I do). I do not always have a great deal of time to go out & photograph cemeteries and thus have not created a lot of memorials in the years I have been on FaG. I try to be thorough however in my work & will always do the best I can to help preserve the honor and memory of those departed.|
My husband's family was mostly from the Emanuel/Montgomery/Treutlen/Johnson Co GA area.
My family lines are Frost (from AL) and Bowen (from GA).
If I have added a memorial for anyone who is not related to us, I will be more than happy to transfer it to you if you ask. I am not out for numbers on FaG. I simply believe that FaG should be a place where people can honor & remember family & friends who have passed away, even when they cannot personally visit a grave.

You are correct and thank you. Just a reminder to me that faulty info can be given for obits. Thank you for researching and proving the connection. Also, if I had looked at the photos it shows her beside the correct husband. Thank you.

Hi, I think we have a problem and see you are family to Jessie so hope this gets sorted.
Here is her Obit and notice her father's name is given as Jesse Hutcheson. Is this the situation where her mother was married first to Jess Hutcheson. If so, then her maiden name would have been the same. Also, could you please run this down and make sure the links are correct? Please let me know the outcome. Thanks.

You are so very welcome!
|Bud||Dr John Nelson Bickers|
If you read the obit of Dr John in both cemeteries listed on Find A Grave you will see that it is White Plains, Ga. If you check the map it shows White Plains in Green County and also the cemetery is in Green County right near the Hancock County line. Who ever made the original for Centennial cemetery in Hancock county made a geo error. I have seen this done several times while working on requests here in Georgia and in West Virginia. Also, it is listed in the book "The Cemeteries of Greene County Georgia" by E. H. Armour copyright 1987 it is listed on page 332. I trust Mr. Armour as I have seen a lot of his work, and I do not know who put the cemetery as listed in Hancock County.
Happy Researching, Bud
