Being an amateur genealogist who has often desired a photograph of the grave of a deceased family member, I get a lot of satisfaction contributing to Find a Grave.

And if you see a gravestone photo I took and you'd like to use it, please know you are welcome to use it, copy it, post it, or whatever, with no need to ask or notify me, and I need no credit, either. Nothing makes me happier than knowing I've helped another genealogist with a piece of the puzzle! :)

I would like to ask permission to use your photo of the above named memorial for my family history and on I would, of course, credit you with the photo.

Thank you for the work you do, it is appreciated.

Re: Find A Grave
New to me at find-a-grave. We can now edit other memorials with restriction as to amount. But it must be approved by the manger of the memorial. I am adding Plot information to over 9000 memorials from a 2012 Pecan Grove Cemetery directory. You can help. First log on to find a grave. go to your profile page. Near the top and center of the page Select Edits tab. Next you will see Display. To the right is a list, select Edits sent to me that I need to review. This brings up a list of all pending requests. Please review and either approve or deny. I am on page 11 of 163. Thanks, Dennis

James W. Brewster FAG#104891545

I made the changes to the memorial. I looked at memorial on Oleta Tucker Find A Grave#137883257.
I could not find any info on the father (J. Arlin Tucker). Oleta Tuckers maiden name is Brewster . The son must have been born out of wed lock. ?? Anyway the memorial shows Oleta as the mother.

I happened to locate it online, but didn't record my source at the time. I'll be happy to search for it and get back to you, hopefully, with a link.

As for getting a full-size copy: for temporar, or longlasting purposes for that matter, you could click on the photo at findagrave and print out a good copy using regular or photo paper. I've resorted to that many times, but you may still want to contact the owner of the original instead.

And, although I was born and raised in OK I am not related to Eda. She was our dear neighbor when my family and I lived across the street from her in Purcell, OK.

I'll get back to you about the search results for the photo link,

John and Eda Porter - Annetta Cemetery --Beautiful portrait! My aunt and uncle. Any chance I can get a full size digital copy of this photo? I am the grandson of Charles Greer Porter and Lillian Lee Evans. Are you related to John and Eda? Your Oklahoma moniker makes me suspect you are a James. Am I right?
