Marriage of Donald Fraser and Hannah Isabelle Kelly 1891
Hello Cindi:

In your very helpful biography of Donald Fraser (1866 - 1910), you refer to him marrying 'around 1891'.

The exact date of the marriage was 19 August 1891, at the Presbyterian Church in Lachute. You can view the record of this marriage at the FamilySearch website (no subscription required), here is the link to it:,224518302,224570501

Regards, Michael

William Archibald "Archie" Fraser
You appear to be kin folk of this fellow William Archibald "Archie" Fraser so he's all yours to look after now. After all who can tell the life story of the dearly departed than their own kin folk.

I am descended from their sister Orpha. Your husband and I are related. Did you know that there is a Lamson quilt that a gal is willing to sell to a Lamson heir for the price she paid for it. It is a signature quilt and has Newell's name on it. I have more information if you're interested. You can reach me personally at

Thank you for the birth info for Jonas. If I may ask, how did you find it? Again, thanks.

RE: Augusta Hopkins grave stone
Glad I found it for I need to know what was her full name and what cemetery it was at....I do so many cemeteries because I like to do Civil War research. I was looking for Augusta Hopkins on the site and could not find it.
Hope the picture turned out ok. Some of the older stones are really hard to do.

Looking for the gravestones of Hugh David and Ann McNeil
at Avoca Cemetery. Hugh died about 1880. Also, their daughter Isabella (died 1911) and her husband, James Reid (died 1900). Would it be possible for you to take photos of their gravestones?

Thank you so much.

RE: Thanks so much!

Happy to have been able to get that photo for you. There are several stones with incorrect inscriptions on them at Antietam. I have been making corrections to those I have entered as I locate CORRECT info. If there are any other headstones in my area you need a photo of, please notify me and I will do my best to get them. Hope you have a great day.
