Hello, I was very glad to find the image you posted of Curtis Clark. I am researching the 7th Iowa Cavalry and wonder if you can tell me the source for the photo as I would like to get permission to use the image when I publish my research? Again, thanks for posting the photo - Sincerely, Dean Knudsen

Oh I just hate when I do that. Sorry I delete them once I do them. I suggest doing a request, I know there are several volunteers in the area. I'll also get in touch with Bonnie who keeps the records. They are adding current burials with photos so she might have the guys pick that up for you.

Clark family at Bethesda
Paula, you are welcome for the headstone photos of Ransom and Amelia Clark out at Bethesda Cemetery! I did leave comments on the ones for each of the close views. The engraving on that type of stone is really difficult to photograph but at least you can get an idea of what the inscriptions (names, birth & death dates, and age at death) had written out. Glad to be of help! Richard.

Your very welcome. I'm still uploading all the photos of the cemetery. Should be finished in the next few days.

You're Welcome.
Glad to help you out. I went up there once and took the photos and they didn't turn out too well. The inscription was really hard to read. So I took a piece of Charcoal with me and highlighted it so that it could be read. There were a couple other Clarks buried there. Not sure if they are relation but I'll post them anyways.
