RE: Gregory Relatives
Dear Carol, Good on you for erring on the side of caution. I found cemetery transcriptions for Patoka township and went through them all, including Oak Hill. Alfred is not there. I will keep looking, but I think they wanted it hidden.

RE: Gregory Relatives
Dear Carol, You must research as much as I do. Here is my thinking on the "Winslow cemetery" on the Alfred death cert. The only Winslow cemetery is in Salem,Washington Co.,Ind., so we know that can't be it. There are a couple of tiny antiquated cemeteries in Winslow; Loveless and Sunset (very tiny-only family use). That leaves us with Oak Hill Cemetery, which was very much in use in 1900. I would definitely go with that one, rather than cemetery unknown. Do you think that might be the "Winslow cemetery"?
We are all here on the planet as legendary survivors. Off to work, will send more later.Lily

Gregory Relatives
Dear Carol, I have been watching your additions to the Alfred Gregory memorial. I am a descendant of Robert S. Gregory (Alfred's father). How much do you know about Alfred? Do you know about the shooting? Let's exchange info and maybe we can work this out together. Nice to meet you, Lily

Cram gravesite
There is no stone there but I have pictures of the site and surroundings. Is it okay to add those?

RE: Persinger Flake Wagaman
Hi Carol

I am very much intersted to know more about Amelia Persinger Flake... she was my great aunt.

I believe she was also part of the Persingers that was also related to the Wagamans? But am not sure how she was related if she was.

My Great Great Grandmother was Rebecca Persinger Baily (Wm.)
Which their daughter Minerva Ellestine Balay m. Joshua Harrison Wagaman. My Great Grand parents.

This confusing :)
Ora is my Grandmothers brother my mothers mother.

Joshua and Minerva are from my mothers grandparents on her fathers side.

I hope I made some sense there...

I know it would definately help me.... If I am thinking correctly about Amelia I have lots of information on the Persinger side... You would love it.

my email is littlemswings @ yahoo . com if you would like to see how much we could have in common... compare notes and see what we can stir up.

My Best

Cuzzie Paula

It was my pleasure! :-) I appreciate you giving me the general location of the stones--that helped!! I have been looking at some of your other photo requests....I will try to fulfill the ones in Thorntown....the cemetary looks big and I am unsure if it has a caretaker/office on site. Will be in touch...JillR
