My name is Jeri (Hatch) Herbert. I married Darrell Herbert in 1962. I grew up in Yakima, Washington, but graduated from West Seattle High School in Seattle, WA. We live in Des Moines, WA (a suburb of Seattle), moving here from West Seattle in 1996. We spent five years in Arapahoe, NE where I spent some time digging into genealogy - courthouses, newspapers & cemeteries. We have 3 sons, 3 granddaughters (1 deceased) and 2 grandsons (1 deceased). Working on my family tree is so much fun, but can be very addictive. | |

| Returning the Favor
I just looked at your Photo requests. I just claimed Grace Herbert in Mount Calvary Cemetery and Katherin Herbert in Findley Scott Hill Memor... both are 14-15 miles from my home. Hopefully I can do as well with them as you did getting my Great Aunt and Uncle to me.
I will try to get over to Portland in the next few days.

Aunt Ike was my Grandma's sister and my moms favorite Aunt. We shared a great deal of time with them and their family and getting this pictures means a lot to me, more than reconstructing family history, this is one of those times when I feel closure on getting all the pieces of the memorial together. Thank you so much for the photo. You have made my day!!!!
