|V S McAdams||RE: Glen Leroy Stewart|
Yes, I do have more information but it is from a a phone call. Glen in my grandfather - father's side. I don't know a lot about him but did finally track down where he is buried. Here is a summary that I sent to my aunt.
He is buried in George Washington Cemetery in Adelphi, Maryland. The death certificate says Washington, DC, and it is a suburb, but that is probably why I could never find it before. He is buried in a plot that was owned by his neice, Lorna May Stewart. (Someone from the cemetery actually called me and gave me the information after I had sent an email inquiry) I believe she is also buried there. Glenís nephew, Dwane, Lornaís brother, is the one listed on the death certificate who handled everything in New York. Dwane, at some point, moved to California and just died a few years ago. From the death certificate, it appears that Glen had been in New York for many months before the surgery when he died.
I meant the Peter DeWitt who married Evaline Jane Mayo. Thx, DeWitt

|Gayle Gilpin||Olive Hart Thompson|
Hi Bonnie, I would like to help you with your request, but I can't find Dell Thompson, Reuben or Maria Mehuren to add a link for you. Either they don't have headstones or a memorial has not been created for them yet. If Olive Thompson is your family, I can transfer the memorial to you. I have quite a few family members buried in the Coshocton area cemeteries.
Yes, you are correct, thank you for the information. Do you know who his parents are? I have about given up on him. Thx, DeWitt

Why do you think Evaline is married to a different Peter DeWitt? Because of the years on the Census? But it is like you said 1860 Census, Peter and Evaline's children are Eliza, Manfred, Wesley, Lucy, and Stephen. Still, this Peter is unknown. In the 1870 census, Peter is married to Martha 'Margaret Jane Baird' listing the same children plus Werter DeWitt. Since we know Peter Greenup DeWitt married Margaret Baird, then the Evaline would be the one who married Peter
Or is it because Evaline did not die until 1862 and Peter remarried in 1851 to Margaret?
Another reason why i think it is this Peter DeWitt, is because they are all in the DeWitt Cemetery.
A person named Scott, he is on some of the Find A Grave as maintained by. Scott and myself went thru the people in this cemetery. He had most of them already placed, he got the record of who was buried in this DeWitt Cemetery, his great grandmother is married to a DeWitt. These DeWitt's are my cousins, my mother's maiden name is DeWitt.
The census i found on Peter DeWitt, did not list Peter as only being born in
1824. He had many years listed.
Also, if i remember right, Scott had a 10 year discrepancy on the Graverecords in this Cemetery, you might ask him. So Evaline very well could have died 10 years earlier. I will keep checking on this, let me know what you think.
Thank You, DeWitt

Sorry - this isn't an office. It seems there are different views on the naming convention but this is Find A Grave's
Last Name as you would find it on the tombstone, if the interred had more than one marriage or other possible spellings please place this information in the bio and use the family links. Do not include honorary or other suffixes in the Last Name field.
I will leave it since it's exactly as it is on the stone.
|Brigham Hagerman||RE: Emily Magill|
Thank-you for your quick response. Emily's maiden name is supposedly Lovett, daughter of Jonas. She had two children with WH Magill born in Harriettsville: Russell Milton Magill, 1851 and Euretta Levina Magill Harshman, 1853. I've seen birth and death dates for her of 18 May 1824 and 17 Jun 1855, but have no corroboration for those.
|Curtis Howell||RE: SMN Willis F Howell|
Thanks for the speedy reply. Above is the number you requested. My mother's ashes are not yet interred but will be next to Willis. My mother's name was Delores Kathleen Day Howell and her mother & father are buried next to Willis. Willis went by Frank, and his father's ashes were scattered over Biscayne Bay in Miami, FL. Frank's father's name was Everett Howell. Frank's mother, Alta Aaron is buried in Akron, OH, and I don't know the cemetery's name.
