cemetery confusion
I have been truing to sort out a pair of ancestors named Moses Laughlin and his wife Jane Tamzin Laughlin. I have found three Find-a-Grave citations for these names. The memorial numbers are as follows:
1. Jane Tamzin Laughlin #28453126 buried in Historic Presbyterian cemetery outside of Millville.

2. Moses Laughlin #28453088 buried in Historic Presbyterian cemetery outside of Millville.

3. Tomson Laughlin #129685459 buried in Millville cemetery, and whose spouse is also given as Moses Laughlin, but for whom there does not appear to be a associated Find-a-Grave memorial number.

It appears as though there are Moses and Tomson(Tamzin) Laughlins buried in two nearby cemeteries and with similar birth/death dates. Since you created one of these memorials, could you offer any clarification of this? Any information you could provide would be appreciated.

Moses and Tamzin?Tomson are my ggg-grandparents.

RE: Drew;s
Ellen (Morris/Diggs) Drew and (my g'grandfather) Wm. Hyatt Drew's mother and father were Charles Clendenen Drew and Elizabeth Reed Drew. That is who my/our Elizabeth Reed Drew is. They were my g'g'grandparents. I'm sure they are buried in or around Rockcastle Co. Kentucky. Charles was born in North Carolina but Elizabeth was born in Kentucky. There are so many Elizabeth Drew's that is gets so very confusing. As for Ellen, I got my information from Marvin about Abraham Drew being her husband. That he got shot and killed in Livingston, Ky and her and the girls moved to Hamilton, Ohio after that. Is that the same info that you have? Sometimes, I get so overwhelmed with all of this ancestry stuff. It gets frustrating when you just can't get concrete answers. lol

RE: Drew;s
I thought Ellen Drew was married to Abraham Drew first. Which was her 1/2 first cousin. And then I hadn't heard that she was married to a Morris. I did know she was married to Diggs, last. Please let me know if you find out any info on Charles Clendenen and Elizabeth Reed Drew. It would be wonderful If we could find his grave. :) Thanks again, Kay.

RE: Drew;s
How are you related to Ellen? Ellen's brother, William Hyatt Drew was my g'grandfather. We don't have any pictures of him. I have one of his wife, Margaret Brockman Drew. Do you know if anyone has any info on Ellen and Hyatt's dad, Charles Clendenen Drew? I haven't been able to locate any pictures or where he and his wife, Elizabeth Reed Drew are buried. Where do you live Kay? I live in Cincinnati, but have a place down on the Rockcastle/Jackson County line. Hyatt had purchased about 50 acres down there and my grandparent, Armps and Dicie Malicoat Drew bought it from him. The property was passed down to their children, my mom, Ruth Drew Whitton, being one of them. We call it "Drew Valley". My husband and I purchased our own place, about a mile from Drew Valley, about 10 years ago, and built a house there. We plan to retire there when the time comes. Marvin did share a few pictures with me. One of Ellen and an unknown woman and some of Ben Drew. What is your email? I can probably share pictures easier that way or maybe thru Facebook. I will see if I can find you on there. Thanks for responding. Tammie

RE: McDaniel
What is your email address? I sent you an invitation to the email on your website. It's possible that I got it wrong. (I am an old lady). I am not related to Margaret, my husband was her grandson and I remember her well. I have a paper from an old bible with all the McDaniels' names and birthdates.

RE: Drews/McQueen
I live in Jax, Fl.I did not know any Drews or McQueens in Hamilton. I'm a descendant of John McQuin/McQueen 1761-1855 and Rev. John Drew 1823-1890 of Estill & Jackson Co. McQuin was a woodsman who fought in the battle of Kings Mountain. The Drews were Siouan/Saponi indians from N.C.
