I am 55, mother of 3 adult children, grandmother to four handsome boys (and 1 little angel grandson) and four beautiful granddaughters, and have been married to a wonderful man (my best friend) for 35 years! I enjoy making homemade cards, scrapbooking, collecting rocks from all continental US and genealogy- especially locating old cemeteries and obtaining pictures for ancestry. I live in the South Bend area of Indiana and willing to assist in pictures of surrounding cemeteries, and will happily transfer upon request. Feel free to contact me anytime for transfers, memorial corrections, or if you would like me to obtain an obituary for you. I also volunteer for our local Family History Department at the library. |

|Jessica Hamby||Bell Family Research|
I am researching my family and yesterday (after several years) finally found that many of them are resting at Woodlawn. I am confused in that my great-grandmother and several of her children are buried there but not my great-grandfather. Her name is Linnie Bell and her husbands name is John Bell. I realize that there are a few John Bell's listed but the birth date that I'm pulling for him on each census is 1883. This is not reflected for those at the same cemetery. I wonder if there is anything you can assist me with while I try to unravel this interesting puzzle. If so, I appreciate your help and if not, I appreciate your time!

Thank you for the information. I am related but not that closely related. I'll let you keep it in case one of her descendants comes along and would like to maintain it.

I can't thank you enough for these photos. When I was there I was not sure where the sections were. The map at the office is interesting but doesn't show the sections so I was a bit lost. I also have some other questions about this cemetery but will email you directly.
Once again thanks for your dedication.

Hi Cindi: Thank you so much for the wonderful photos of Charles and Caroline Hartman. I so appreciate your getting these photos for me. Living on the West Coast, I doubt I would have ever been able to see them without your help. Chris

We've been on vacation and just arrived back home last evening. Sorry for the late response!
Thanks for all the work you did in trying to locate Jacob's burial site. I knew his wife was buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Mishawaka so I assumed when Jacob's obit said St. Joseph Cemetery that was where he was buried as well. He lived in Mishawaka most of his life until after his wife passed. I'm wondering if he made provisions for a tombstone. They didn't have any children so there are no close survivors, except nieces and nephews, to arrange for such things. His spouse, Clara, does have a marker but with only her data.
Thank you again for all your help.
Thank you Cindi for taking the photo of the Anderson Marker. Its much appreciated!
