Gertrude Kinsey Jones
I am a member of the Calhoun County Historical Commission. We are having a commemoration on Aug. 20, 2011 of the destruction of Indianola.
I am surveying the Old Town Cemetery.
Is it posible that Gertrude was married to Charles Landrum?

Was there ever a marker on her grave that you are aware of.

Many early markers were washed away by hurricanes over the years.

Thank for your help,

Joe Boyd Williams

You set up a memorial for Mary at Sandridge Cemetery. I had someone go to get a picture for me and can not find her grave. Is she under another name such as "maggie" ? Is it Reed? Do you happen to have the area like lot number, grave number etc. Can you help me. Thank you very much.Sincerely Rach

I see you have family in or from Shady Point. My Grandmother and Grandfather, and Step Grandfather lived in Shady Point.

Maybe you knew them or know someone who did. Their names are Anna Hart who married Edward Pearson. They were Mr. and Mrs Edward Pearson. She was a cook at the mining camp there for awhile. She had 4 girls, Caroline, Dorothy, Kathleen and the youngest child Helen. Also they had a boy names James Carl Hart. Just looking for friends of theirs to spur my childhood memories.
