Please feel free to send me additions or corrections to my memorials by using the edit button.
Findagrave is about a memorial for the deceased, not a family tree or your genealogy research. A memorial is basically like an obituary.
PLEASE DO NOT POST DEATH CERTIFICATES AS PHOTOS on my memorials. I find them tacky, distasteful and they really only add the cause of death which is not necessary.
Death certificates are only valid for four things, date, time, place and cause of death. All other information on a death certificate is given by an informant who does not always have correct information on the deceased.
PLEASE DO NOT POST OBITUARIES AS PHOTOS. It is against Findagrave rules. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?searchArg=obituaries&page=listFaqs#89
If you have an obituary you want posted, post 1922, please send it to me in a rewritten form, to comply with copyright laws.
I follow Findagrave guidelines on transfers. Within 4 generations, siblings, parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. I WILL consider transfers out of the guidelines if not related to me.
If you have relatives in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis County, Missouri, please contact me for transfer requests, stating your relationship. I have very few relatives that I listed in this cemetery.
Just an FYI - I have been finding an extreme amount of duplicate memorials searching for my ancestors in Find-A-Grave. I always give the member who posted the duplicate memorial 30 days to do the right thing and delete their duplicate. If, after 30 days, it is not deleted, I notify the Admins at Findagrave to remove it.
