Frank Nicholas Webber
I was wondering if you have any information about Frank Nicholas Webber (you were attached to the information given in his bio). Very interesting twist in that story. His wife Nettie May married Fred Ballinger (my great grandfather) 2 months after Frank died. The twist is that he was still married to my great grandmother at the time. (Mary Douglas Leonard) I am wondering about the back story of their relationship. My grandmother had left him and taken the children in 1924 and it was rumored that he had another relationship/family on the side. The plot thickens! Any info about any of these people would be greatly appreciated!

Wilmoth/Canfield connection
Joyce I found a document that the Wilmoth's and Canfield's were in-law via marriages to the Schoonover brothers, David and Henry. Sometime in the late 1700's David married Susan Wilmoth and Henry married Mary Canfield. There are even two Jesse Canfield's born in 1825 and 1875.

But no mention of our Jesse.

Susan M and Sarah Belle Wilmoth are likely the same person according to Walter Wilmoth who sadly passed away suddenly in 2013. :(

RE: Jesse Canfield Wilmoth
I was hoping a post here and on ancestry might end up being seen by someone with more answers. What "everybody knew" in the present is a mystery for us now, for now at least. Jesse, what is your story?

RE: Jesse Canfield Wilmoth
I could be wrong but I think he was a close friend of the family who was taken under a Wilmoth's wing or maybe officially adopted. But don't quote me, it's just a guess! And it looks like it was one of those things not documented never dreaming that genealogy would be of any concern down the road.

Not related and have no information. He is just one on local Civil war Veterans that have had memorials created.

RE: John Sleeth
What information do you need? If you knew anything about him you would know he was married to Anna Nancy Flesher Sleeth Parsons. Here is her memorial #5660291
She married John in 1777 and Charles Parsons in 1796.
