 | use of photo Dear Storm,
My oratorio "ømhetens tre"/"tree of tenderness" based on poems by Gunvor Hofmo will be released 25 November this year. Can I have the permission to use your photo of her in the cover leaflet?

 | Re: Kirsten Flagstad Dear Storm:
Enjoyed your biography on the GREAT Kirsten Flagstad. However, I noticed two errors. You mentioned in the bio that her recordings date from 1913 to 1915. Actually her first records were made a few months after her debut (December 12, 1913, and her final album was "Songs From Norway" which was recorded by Decca/London records in early January of 1959. So, the recording dates should read 1914-1959.
Thank you....
Randy Sills, perhaps the biggest Flagstad fan in the world today. What a great organ of a voice. It will never be equaled, let alone surpassed. | | | SerenityNow
 | Headstones I have visited a number of your graves and was amazed at that beautiful headstones that they have in Norway, they are actual large stones ! The natural stones are at more with the earth, I wish we were allowed such stones in Australia. | | | Valenciaღ Angel of Mine ƸӜƷ

 | RE: Tonsberg Old Cemetery, Norway Hi Lilli,
Nice photos. Many thanks for adding them and recognizing more of The Fallen. Wife wife is Swedish and we will be moving to Sweden in summer 2012. I hope to see a lot of Norway afterwards.
In the meantime, a technique I use is to photograph stones with flowers "as is", or how someone standing in front of the headstones would first see it. I always carry an umbrella and then put the umbrella between the flowers and the stone, pull down slightly, and photograph the inscription. I crop out the umbrella later and add both versions of the stones.
Please continue photographing headstones in your area and I will keep an interested eye on your progress. I am sure there will be plenty for both of us to do in this area.
Cheers

 | Prayer Request Storm....would you please keep my little boy, Connor, in your prayers Friday morning. He is having surgery to lengthen both Achilles tendons and of course we are all very stressed out and worried. He's only 4 and will have to be in full leg casts for 6 weeks afterward. He's a VERY active little boy so I think it will really bum him out to not be able to run and play with his brother and sisters.
Thank you so much! SuzeAdded by Suze on Jan 20, 2010 8:01 AM | | | | [View all messages...] |
