Hello. These individuals were my maternal grand parents.I can't be of too much help but can tell you that my grandfather did marry again many many years after my grandmother's death as was stated. If other "children" were noted in his obituary they were probably step kids.He only had children with Elsie.I believe they had eight biologic children and he also was considered the parent of Elsie's oldest son Frank although he was not his biologic father. One daughter Garnet died in childhood and a son (I think Alfred) died in early infancy.Lincoln was survived by his children,Frank;ThelmaDeaver(Florence);Lincoln,Jr,;Bobby;Tommy;Opal and Shirley.I could list maybe 25 of the grandchildren including myself, sibs, and first cousins but actually do not know the total number or all of the names.

That's great! He is part of my family too, but distant. I found myself working on them in order to connect them all in Find A Grave. How did RL Estep have a son born several years after Elsies death. Who was is mother?

Hi, I seen your note on Lincs memorial where you say he didn't remarry? Unless he fathered a child out of wedlock, he did marry again. If he is in your family line, contact me.

Re: Jacob Estep
He is in my family line and your note says you have more information about the family. Is it on ancestry.com? I would appreciate any information you have!

Thanks

I am a decentant of the Cremeens/Cremeans family also
years of research has taken me to Moses Elkanah, Sr.,(1773 born in Maryland died in Gallia Co. Ohio 1853). Spelling of the name was Cremeans in West Virginia and in Ohio it was Cremeens. Melissa Cremeens Martin is my Great Great Grandmother. Cindi
