Blanche Russ Packer
Hello again,

After further research it looks like George Packer, Blanche's husband, is the second cousin of Eva Russ Packer's husband, Thomas, although even that is tentative and needs further research.

I've found no indication at all that Eva Russ is related to Blanche Russ via her Russ line - if there is a connection then it is earlier than 1750 and has yet to be found.

As I mentioned previously, Blanche Russ Packer had no children, so there's no connection to Eva Russ Packer going forward, either.

Hope I've helped clear things up!

Blanche Russ Packer
Hello,

I couldn't help but notice your interest in Blanche Russ Packer. I thought I would add what I know.

Blanche was my great great aunt. She had no children, so her only known relationship to a Packer was through her husband George.

Her brother was my mother's grandfather. He was the boy in the news story who found her body. I'm afraid that I don't know who her husband later married.

I have several newspaper articles regarding the crime if you would like me to forward them to you.

RE: Blanch Russ Packer
Dean, I saw a forum years ago discussing Blanche. I will see if I can find it again. I thought George her husband was buried in the same cemetery but I'm sure Iwould have posted the picture. I'll check my files to make sure. I did find a George Packer here http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Packer&GSfn=George+&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSst=29&GScnty=1659&GScntry=4&GSob=n&GRid=10963431&df=all&

I'll see what else I can find.
