I have had this happen only occasionally but it is kind of frustrating. If you have your messages disabled and your email address is not displayed - I can certainly understand the need for that.
But if you send me additional information, requests, suggestions etc about memorials I manage, please include an email address so that I can respond. I have received emails where the sender was simply incorrect, or they weren't necessarily incorrect, but there were reasons for what I showed etc. It would be nice to be able to respond to the message. It is only courteous to give the other person the chance to respond. They might have information that you don't. Please don't expect me to just do what you ask if you aren't going to give me that courtesy.

I have been researching my genealogy for over 25 years and am totally addicted. I also work on my husband's lines. I am new to the Greensboro area, but will try to help however I can. I recently moved from Texas to North Carolina. I had lived in Texas all my life until last year's move. While I miss Texas, I love North Carolina too.
I will not transfer memorials for people that I am related to. However, if you send me additional information etc that you would like added, I will be happy to do that.
If I am not related to the person, I will be happy to honor transfer requests to relatives of the person in question. I like for the memorials to be in a relative's care.
When I fulfill a photo request, I normally keep all originals of my photos, which I will share by email if requested. My photos may be used and reposted for personal use and not for profit. I do appreciate when people credit me as the source, just as a courtesy. | |

Hi, Dee - thanks for your messages. I have not heard back from Curtis Loftin about the duplication and about changing the parentage on Memorial #92194515 Sarah Elizabeth (ADERHOLDT) WITHERSPOON to the correct memorial for Jacob so we don't lose that link. It is actually a cousin who has been updating the ADERHOLD/T Collection for some years now. I think my last contact with her was last October, and I don't know where she stands on it at present - I will check with her. Her name is Carol VOSS, and she and her husband Tom live in Michigan, but usually winter in Florida. She comes down from my gg-grandfather William W. ADERHOLD by his second wife - after the Civil War, he went to Kentucky & remarried, then the family moved through Indiana to Illinois, where he is buried. Before I got in touch with Carol, we had oral tradition that he'd had a second family but no confirmation, and they knew he had come from Georgia but did not know he'd left behind a wife and two sons! Hi Dee, normally I would be happy to transfer profiles, yet I am also a direct descendant of the Ferris'. I transferred my Jeffrey Ferris profile to a guy who is the top researcher for the Ferris line. If you would like to get more in depth information on the family, check him out. He deserved to manage our most famous Ferris ancestor.

Hi Dee, I was thinking that the CO. stands for county in Earl's obit. Left off the state because she was born and died in Texas. just a thought. I think it's the newspaper fault, not her childrens. | | | Becky St.Clair Harris
