According to Oakwood records, your information regarding the location of Christian's interment is correct. However, there is no headstone at that location--just an empty space between graves 25 and 27. There is also nothing written on the record book page as to him having been moved. As far as they're concerned, he's in that plot. I will go back to the office next week and see if anything turns up there about a stone. I will also poke around the ground and see if I can find a stone remnant, or an old metal marker. It's a bit of a mystery.

The Horne cemetery was recently mowed and we were able to survey the headstones. Unfortunately, there are NO Fike headstones in the cemetery...there are only 20 headstones in total there, so we didn't miss it. Sorry.

I took a photo of Melvina Horne Van Hook's stone too just in case you missed it.
I live in Florida but spend summers in Franklin in a RV park just down the road from Bethel so taking photos there not much trouble, glad they came out good.
