My name is Betty Lou Walker, born and raised in Thorntown, Boone County, Indiana, daughter of George and Marie Coffman Moody, married Joseph Walker, we have two daughters, Cindy & Beth, seven grandchildren and four great granddaughters, hopefully one of them will carry on the family tree research.|
In 1980 Joe & I moved to Clearwater, Florida. I started our (Joe's & mine) family tree research in 1977.
I enjoyed helping others to find photos of their love ones gravestones.

|Richard Parker||RE: Martha Moody Beathe|
Sorry to hear you been in the hospital.
Been there, done that and don't care to go back.
Didn't have that much fun.
Take you time. No hurry to add the memorial.
|Richard Parker||Martha Moody Beathe|
Thank you for your reply. It has occured to me, since, we know that Martha and Robert had a child and most likely that child is buried in the same cemetery as Martha. Should we not create a memorial for that child?
If you think this fitting, why don't you made the memorial and link the child to Martha and Robert to show future researchers of our lines that there was a child.
|Richard Parker||Rbert Crawford Beathe|
While searching other members of my Beathe family, I came across your memorial of Robert's first, wife, Martha Moody.
Our side of the family, believe that Martha died in child birth and the child too. I'm curious and puzzled. Why didn't Robert keep Jennie? Seems odd to me.
I have linked Robert to Martha. If any of Jennie's descendants on her father's side of the family can tap into Robert's memorial and will be able to link back to the first Beathe who came to American.
Thanks for making a memorial for Martha. Greatly appreciated.
|Jonnson||Photo request for "Thurman Morrison", Fort Benning Post Cemetery|
I see that another contributor has already consulted the cemetery records without success, but yesterday, I also checked the actual plot location you gave in your photo-request (Section C-2, plot 191). The marker in that location shows one "SSGT Herbert Jerome Dozier" (USAF- b. Oct. 8, 1936, d. Oct. 1, 1999). This grave appears on the Find A Grave database as ID number 58564105, although the plot number is not specifically indicated.
Just for the heck of it, I walked the entire C section of the cemetery, but could find no Thurmon Morrison, or anything reasonably similar. I also checked plot 191 in the G section, but that grave contains a Leroy Prescott and spouse (interred in 2002).
Sorry I couldn't help. If you have additional relevant information, I'll be pleased to inquire further the next time I'm there.

|Lawrence Lobdell||Peter Coffman|
The images of Andrew Coffman and his family and Peter Coffman were a pleasant surprise. Spent time over the years, in the Thorntown cemetery, looking at headstones. The photos add a new dimension. My paternal Grandmother was Clovene B.(Coffman) Lobdell.
|Judy Lammers||John Wesley Moody|
John Wesley b1856 is my great granddaddy.In the 1860 census the only adults listed with him were Arcardia's daughters. I am thinking prob Hannah may have been his mother. I would be very interested in any information you may have on this branch.
