Fallen Graver

Sadly, VirJean Potter Bozarth has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

I am a retired widow and the mother of five children with two of them now entered with Find A Grave memorials. I have been an active researcher of the Bozarth / Bozorth / Bozier surnames in all time periods and in all locations for over forty years. I have done much research on the Dewees / Deweese surnames, especially in the Grayson County, Kentucky area, as well as all the collateral surnames there from 1810-1880. I have a massive amount of Grayson County, Kentucky information that I would like to share with researchers, who are interested in that area. Unfortunately I am retired from active cemetery research due to lack of transportation.

I am an avid reader. The most interesting job that I have had was the year my husband Claude - my Santa Claude - and I worked as Mr. and Mrs. Santa at The Original Christmas Store in Houston. My most interesting hobby has been making beaded flowers. I have made everything from miniature Christmas trees and miniature gardens in shadow boxes to flower arrangements that fit in doll houses and table centerpieces that took several weeks to make. I derive the most enjoyment of adding a generation or two when I get queries about the families I have researched.

If you should find an error in a memorial or a dulplicate memorial, kindly notify me so that I can correct it. Please let me know if you have additional information or pictures for any of the memorials. I'm happy to add Relationship Links for you. Any pictures of the persons or cemetery pictures for any of the memorials that you could post or send to me to post would be greatly appreciated. They add so much to those memorials.

Thanks, VirJean Potter Bozarth
