Welcome - |
We are doing a holy service by remembering the dead, and preserving history.
I think we all have a piece of the puzzle and if everyone contributes, questions will be answered.
please note - FINDAGRAVE as the name implies is a grave registration site and NOT a genealogy site. Although it can be very useful for genealogy.
This a wonderful site for remembering people. Peoples lives are fascinating and they deserve to be remembered and documented.
Please remember we are not just entering names or stones, but real people. Please ask yourself if your memorial is search-able. All memorials should have last names. Women who never marry, and children don't have maiden names. There is no maiden name unless the name changes. Also please do not use ().
Please do NOT create duplicates.
If you notice any mistakes, please let me know, and I will be happy to fix them. Nobody is perfect, we are all fallible human beings mostly doing the best we can at the moment.
We are merely stewards of 'our' memorials - we manage them and are entrusted with their care and maintenance, but we do not technically 'own' them.
Please read the FAQs (frequently asked questions). Thanks, and please try to resolved unknown burials ASAP.
Please free to use any of my photos with appropriate citations. Will also add updates, -the more info, the better. I don't have a policy about transfers - ask and we can work it out.
"A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - always." (author unknown)

Is that what that was? A Temp marker? He must have died poor. When I found that grave the man who showed me to it told me some organization buried him. He also said he had a lady friend. I wonder what they do with things like his wallet if there are photos or any type of papers. It is a shame to lose someone and not have something.

Please. That would be great. He was a lost sheep in the family who I tracked down some years ago. My grand father's brother.

We haven't found their (Vosseller/Vusler) headstones yet. We've found Robert's footstone and the broken base to Robert. For pics of the cleanup efforts:

I don't care about genealogy, so dates, spouses, parents, children are not my concern. I am just locating the grave

no I can't crop it and make it closer. I like it so you can find the stone, It is easy to find with this picture. If you don't like this type of picture, then go take your own style. This is FINDAGRAVE, and I want a person to be able to find the grave.

Additions and corrections done.
Thank you for your input.

Not according to their rules on-line. I'm waiting for them to reply. ONE lady wanted me to remove it and doesn't accept death certificate images either even though those ARE ok to add according to the rules. I'm very unhappy about this. I'm in the process of transcribing the ones on the memorials I manage and removing the images. I've now added less the 100 pictures according to Find A Grave and most all of them are obituaries not including the ones I've deleted already. Sorry about this :(

|Carol & David Hoff||Lambert Fritts #28591532|
Just a quick note that Lambert and his wife Catherine Fritts are buried in Fairmount Cemetery in Phillipsburg NJ not Phillipsburg Cemetery according to Fairmount Cemetery Records. Lambert died in 1940. Their burial location is B/0321.
