I love doing geneology. And i know how hard it is to find your ancestors, or find where they are buried. I like helping others find and confirm where their families are buried. My youngest Daughter just graduated in 2006 and doing the look ups for others gives me something to do with my time. My family surnames are: Fetter, Schneider, Quick, Reich,Essex, Fields

Effie May Quick
Is this name familiar? Her parents were George and Abbie Quick who lived in Loomis. I'm not a relative but do have an obit for her and am trying to locate the correct cemetery. She died in Aug 1897.

George Quick (1838-1919) - Chippewa Cemetery - Isabella Co., MI
My husband and I walked this cemetery twice and found NO headstone for Mr. Quick. I spoke with the Sexton and she has no record for him. There was a fire in the 1960's and cemetery records were lost. They have had to be reconstructed from existing headstones. She also knows there are a lot of older graves with no headstones. I'm asking her to keep a record of George Quick for future reference. I'm sorry I couldn't get a photo for you, but we tried.
