Bio Photo Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die.
--Poem of disputed origin - Sometimes attributed to author, Mary Elizabeth Frye, sometimes cited as a Hopi Prayer.

RE: Dorothy Peterson memorial 26315818
Have been looking for info on this part of our family tree for a while (the Floras & related lines). I don't see a link to contact you through your member page other than leaving a message like this; can I send my email address to you through the "edit" tab on one of your memorials?

Dorothy Peterson memorial 26315818
Hi - wondering if you left Dorothy a virtual flower because she's one of Callaway Flora's granddaughters? Been trying to find info on the Floras for a while and appreciate any help you can give - thanks!

William Graves Price
I think that the name of the grave in Popular Run cemetery of William Graves Price in Fleming county KY should be William GALLOWAY Price.

William Graves Price married Sarah/Sally Davis in Green County KY. This is an entirely different line. I would be happy to share my documentation with you.

I suspect we ay have some family in common. Your Thomas May in your virtual cematary is the brother to my g-g grandmother Catherine who married Thomas Beckett, who was also from Lewis Co. KY.

You state his mother was not Mary Guess. What proof do you have of his real mother and how do you know the dates of their marriages? I am related to Jasper and want to make sure I have the correct information. I can not locate any marriage information for him.

You can contact me at

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Margaret Finley Belt
I have a Photo of Margaret Belt's gravestone taken by my mother many years ago, but I cannot seem to be able to post it. FYI the stone says:

Wife of
June 17, 1791 [Note- not January as on Findagrave]
Oct. 16, 1823

Also, It may be that Fielding Belt married 2 different Margarets- Margaret Finley in 1811 and later Margaret Faris in 1816.

Frances Howard White
Hi, Thanks for the photo of Shannon Cemetary where Frances Howard White is buried. I am trying to locate death info on her daughter Florida White who married Green Parker. I think she may have died in Illinois, but I wondered if there was any additional info on family members located in Shannon.

Thanks for your fine work.

RE: Larkin Everett McCubbin
Jackie...James marker was not a headstone, just the marker that you find in the ground. I feel sure Larkin is buried in the same Lot, but just does not have a marker. There is no headstone at that Lot, but the space is big enough for several people to have been buried there.
