RE: Johann V. Auge and Catherine Slemmer
I can't tell you how much this helps. I was really at a roadblock. I am going to try to get a copy of the book you mentioned. I am still trying to find out the following:
1-Maiden name of Susanna (1826-1905)-John Heinrich's wife
2-Was Hannah Fuller (1759-1829) wife of John Jacob Slemmer born in PA or Conn?
Thanks again for your help. It was nice sort of meeting you Cousin! Phyllis

Johann V. Auge and Catherine Slemmer
Hi...My great grandfather was Edwin Slemmer Auge (1848-1914)...his parents were Henry Auge(1824-1903) and Susan (1826-1905). They lived in Montgomery County, PA for most of their lives, but died in Vineland, NJ. I am trying to find their parents and found a Johann Valentine Auge (1792-1837) and Catherine Slemmer as memorials you follow. Do you know if they had any children? I am trying to figure out my "Slemmer" connection...thank you!

Caroline Reynolds, great-aunt of Gwen Raverat
Dear Diana, once we have located the grave I am hoping that either Keri or myself will take an image of it, and we will obviously forward it onto you. Best, Martin

ps I trust you are familiar with Gwen Raverat's "Period Piece" about Darwins in Cambridge, first published in 'mcmlii' (1952) by Faber and Faber in Great Britain?

Lady Caroline Lane "Carrie" Reynolds Slemmer Jebb (wife of Sir Richard Jebb)
Sheila,

Can you please confirm the location of the above wife of "Uncle Dick", so Keri can look for her gravestone and take an image of it for me please? Thanks a lot,

Martin Packer [Friend of Parish of Ascension Burial Ground, Cambridge) as sent to the parish office.

RE: William Slemmer
I checked a little further and see that in the plot with Wm and Kathryn is a Benjamin Slemmer (no middle initial given). Unless they had a son named Benjamin, this is probably his brother. I know Benjamin was born Oct 15, 1880 and died July 1963. I also added the obituary to Elizabeth's memorial and used a hyperlink to connect William (on William page) to George and Elizabeth

Hello, I have been taking headstone photos at William Penn Cemetery. One of the photos was for a G. W. Slemmer. I posted the photo to your memorial and just wanted to let you know it is there.
