Hi. You ask that I change his place of death to Highland Park, Michigan - but his Michigan Death Record states that he was a resident of Detroit and died at Madison Heights, Oakland, Michigan....?

|Capt||Your Williams photo request|
I have posted two images for your requests. Not sure if you were aware but this cemetery has a web site and actually lists your Williams family and other possible members. They designated the plot but I actually looked all over before I even looked for the web site myself cause I couldn't find the grave. The tall monument in the middle of the plot is for one of the sons Robert B. Williams who died at 23 but the other three sides are blank. Please see the web site: www.historicunioncemetery.com. Find A Grave has a memorial for him but I didn't check all the others - there are more than 20 Williams are listed at this cemetery 6 or so in 148, the same plot. If you find others that should be there let me know - you can add them and I'll go look for the stones it's only 2 miles away.

|Susan VanVoorhis||Photo Request for Grave Stone of Francis Glenn|
I went and photographed the grave stone of Francis Glenn 1876-1941 at Montecito Cemetery in Colton, California today. Right next to that stone was a grave stone for Lucretia Glenn, and appears to be the wife of Francis. I photographed both stones and put the photos in the memorials. I hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you for the parental links for George!

Hi Carolyn, I hope this is the person you are looking for; I noted that the birth years don't match, although the death year does. If this is not the one you seek, let me know and I'll keep trying. It's not too big a cemetery. Best regards, Donna

The grass was not mowed and I pulled back the weeds and found some of the headstones. I plan on going back to look again because it began to rain that day. My grandparents and other family members are buried there.

I 'think' that the church that is now affiliated with both cemetery's. . which I am told are both Norwegian, would be located in the village/city of Lester Prairie. You could try to contact this church: Bethel Lutheran Church at 77 Lincoln Ave. North. Phone number is: 320-395-2125 to see if they can help you with cemetery records.
Both cemetery's are very close to my home, but I know nothing about either of them. My hobby is only to record the data on stones and post the photos for those that I find.
There is an extremely large bush, & I do mean a LARGE bush on the cemetery grounds. So large that I will not attempt to crawl into it. But viewing from the all angles, I did not see any stones.
Are you absolutely positive that the two Overvig graves you are requesting photos of are in the Norwegian cemetery in McLeod Co.?
I've been through the cemetery several times transcribing and photographing the entire thing, & have not see one grave with that name on it. There is another cemetery, just up the road from where I live that is associated with the same church. I've also photographed and transcribed that one as well, but can't think of it's name right off hand. They could be there??
