My mother, her brother Jim, and her aunt Daila started putting together the family tree back in 1962, but it wasn't until 1996 that I took an interest in it, and WOW! In one year I had built a database of more than 2,000 individuals. Since then, I have walked cemeteries in Grainger County Tennessee and Gasconade & Lawrence counties in Missouri. Also very proud becoming a member of DAR and First Families of Tennessee. My ancestors were some phenomenal people, and I hope I have done them proud.
