You have listed a Sara Dicks in Mt. View Cemetery, Vancouver.
You give her birth and death dates. Are you related? I wonder whether you have any more information or a photo of the stone. Sara was married to my great-great-grandfather's nephew, and I would like to know if there were children from this marriage and where they might be buried.

Is he not part of your family?Is your last name Rutledge?If you can, please give me a few details about your family and I will be able to tell as I have this family history back to 1724 in County Fermanagh N. Ireland.

Thomas Rutledge was my grandfather's brother. He was born in Howick, Ontario on April 29, 1870 and his date of death is correct. He also had a first wife named Bertha Fulton and two children who died in an epidemic in Treherne, Manitoba in 1901. He then left his daughter Laura with my great grandparents Mary Ann Anderson and James H. Rutledge until he could establish himself in British Columbia and he took Laura to Vancouver sometime circa 1911. I believe Laura Grant died in 1977 but do not have a death certificate.Thomas also had a brother Robert William who was an MLA in British Columbia from 1928-1931. Would be happy to supply you with more info and would like to know more about Laura.

are you by any chance related to Edward Ryan??? since i am the granddaughter of one of his brothers... William Thomas Ryan... just thought we might be cousins?

You do not have the son, James Harvie Brooks in your list. If you want that photo, let me know, I'll go look for it while I'm in Thamesville.
